Did anyone suspect?

I read this and I could never find out myself. I found it a great book to.

The first 15 or so books that I have read of hers I could never even venture a guess. But, the last few, including this one, I have guessed dead one. One can never be sure, but I thought the most likely theory was a conspiracy between Jackie and Simon. I also guessed the culprit in Murder in Three Acts, but I'm not gonna spoil that for those who haven't read it. When I read her books, I come up with a few plausible theories of the crime and make one of them the most likely, which is usually the one that is the trickiest and the least likely as far as the story is concerned. What helped me guess this one is that they both had air tight alibis, or at least they seemed to.

I guessed who did it pretty early in the book, unlike Murder on the Orient Express and And Then There Were None, where I did not have a clue.

Initially I did, but as I continued to read, I was deceived by Agatha Christie.

Initially I thought that it was impossible, that they both had rock-hard alibis, but slowly I began to suspect the two of them. They were the only people who REALLY stood to benefit. I could not figure out how they did it, but they were my prime suspects. I forgot about the time when Simon was alone, otherwise I may have figured it out.

para nadaaaaa, era lo ultimo que tenia en mente

I thought Simon was in on it from the beginning, but Jackie threw me off! I kept thinking "He's got a few minutes where he's alone, that HAS to matter"

I have read all her books. I finally was able to figure out who it was by just asking myself who the LEAST likely person would be. I couldn't tell you why or how they did it, but after reading and re-reading all her books I came to realize that it was almost always the one you least suspected or thought it couldn't possibly be him or her.

I had a suspicion at first, then was thrown for a loop multiple times.

No
all her books are filled with suspense
love her!!

to be honest I suspected everyone in the story. I recalled every backstory told by the author. but I did not expect there will be a twist in the finale. loved this book.

I would of never suspected the result to be like that, wow!!

I guessed but i was totally wrong!

first Agatha Christie's book that I read, and I loved it. Read it when I was 12, gave me a creep, but couldn't put this down. Read all Poirot's books because of this one...

Most of the time I don't have a clue. Occasionally I've been on the right track. Christie really was the plotting master!

A great read. I enjoyed the film that was made too.

A 'who dun it' wouldn't be any good if you could guess the answer. Agatha Christie was a master of the reveal.

I read 6 of her books and this is the only one where I kinda guessed the murderers. But I was never 100% sure since when it comes to Agahta Christie, guessing who did it is almost impossible.

I never can either unless I have read like the 3rd time through.

I can never guess either. That's what I love about Agatha's books.
There is NO WAY I would ever have guessed the ending of this book!
