Who is enjoying season 2? Anyone?

I haven't seen the series at all, Josiah. We don't have HBO..

I am loving the series. It is surprising me at how well done it is. Peter Dinklage (the Imp) is filling out the role superbly. He struts across the screen.
It seems that the role was tailor made just for him.
And yeah SPOILER*****************

I have yet to get into this series...plus I don't have HBO but I have seen the first season out on DVD. I have yet to start the book series but do plan to as soon as I finish the novel I am reading now. Is this series any good? And does it follow the books at all?

The first season on HBO perfectly mirrors the books, except the Lannisters are blond and not redheads.
The second season just started and is continuing to follow along with the book.
There are a few secondary characters that do not seem to be making any appearances in the show. Probably due to time constraints.
Other than those few differences the show is awesome!

Well I will just have to wait to watch any of it until I have at least finished book 1 so as not to spoil a lot. Thanks for telling me I appreciate it very much

I am going to read it next as soon as I finish Lonesome dove (which I am half way through now).

I was just informed that the game "Game of Throwns" is going to be out on Tueday. I have it on pre-order. Yes I am a game junkie also...so I had to try it. Will take me awhile to play it for I am in the middle of another game and I would like to finish reading the first book before playing also..

I just got the latest Rolling Stone magazine. Peter Dinklage is looking good on the cover. He rules!

I am so excited!!
The last two episodes of GOT are coming up. From the previews they showed last night, it looks like both episodes will be focused on the war. I've read in a few spots online that these are some of the most expensive and intense battle scenes ever shot. It should be great to watch!

Just started watching this series. I am on episode 5 and am enjoying it..My eldest daughter (19) is hooked on it also. So far it has been following the first book pretty well.

I can't wait until you see the last one, Donna!

If its anything like the ending of the first book..then I am going to love it. I am sure that they will do a great ending for the first season!!!!
