Alex tizzard Has anyone read this one yet???

Alex tizzard I generally don't care if the ending or plot is super predictable. What makes a book for me is the character development and the fantastic writing. This book met both of my criteria!

JudgyK I really want to read this. I need to get on it.

Gargi (gargisharma) I think this is one of the best books I have ever read. It's not the usual YA even if the characters are teenagers.
The way John Green deals with issues as sensitive as cancer is amazing. At eighteen, dealing with a death myself, this book has helped me a lot. I think I'll read it again.

jenn | 17 comments when i picked this up from the library, the librarian mentioned how popular it was. i mumbled something about my online book club picking it (a few months back). she said she didn't think she'd read it because there was enough sadness in her life.
i finished it on the metro home tonight, and i don't think i found it sad. there is sadness, to be sure.
i read Hazel's dad describing his math class taught by a tiny, old woman and thought my HS calculus class was taught by that same woman. i'm completely stuck on the notion of the universe wanting to be noticed.
