Nuria I was about to finish the book when a friend asked my what it was about. I didn't know what to say. I found it boring and sad. That was all I could say.

Joanne It's about people who talk too much.

Nuria ...

Cheryl I think the center of the story is Tassie's need for love and acceptance, everyone (her roommate, brother, lover, mom dad employer,) seems to care for her peripherally, but they all seem to have other agendas. Only the child seems to love her and even then, you sort of know she'll be okay without Tassie to take care of her.

Teresa Truthfully i don't think this book had a center or a theme. The author kind of jumped all over the place and it wasnt enjoyable to read. It also didnt have a very strong ending. The ending didnt tie into any of the problems in the book which left me confused and disappointed.

Carol Was disappointed in the story. It was hard to determine what the author's point was in writing the book. Gave it only 1 star.

Helia Rethmann I really loved this story. So much insight, and humor, and ambiguity. I am so sad for Mary-Emma, I am so sad for Sarah, I am so sad for Tassie, yet I fail to feel sad for Edward and Rinaldo. They need to get their own fan club.
