Metafilter discussion

Sorry if I am jumping the gun, but wondering if anyone feels like starting to talk about this book now? I leave tomorrow for vacation with my husband and am unsure what my wifi access will be . . .

Ready when anyone else is... I finished it today

I think I'll be ready to jump in tomorrow, almost finished.

It's taking me longer to get through it than I'd hoped, but I'm happy to join the conversation and contribute what I can before I've finished. I don't mind being spoiled unless there's a really big, surprising, OMG CANUBELIEVEIT!!1!! type plot twist in the last 3rd of the book that would benefit from a big reveal. It doesn't seem like that kind of story so far, so I'm hoping it won't be an issue. If you've finished it, what do you think? Should I bow out if I haven't finished reading? I am interested in discussing it, because it's different than most of the things I've been reading lately.

only a third of the way through... my participation will be late.

Finished up last night. It isn't my usual sort of book I have to say, but I did enjoy it. Although I really didn't like any of the characters at all. Not saying I didn't feel sympathy for Pym, but I found him very unlikeable.

I'm also only about a third of the way through, but I'm headed out on a big vacation so I hope to finish it in the next couple of weeks while I'm traveling. I'll avoid the other thread until then but hope to join in on the conversation soon! I'm really enjoying the book so far.
