Rosemarie's dorm is truly nothing special and looks the same as any other dorm. Her bed is pushed to the side of the room, against the wall to leave the floor open for when it comes time to pray to her goddess. On the nightstand beside her bed is a picture of Lisa and Rosemarie, grooming broadly at the camera. It's a picture that brigs bittersweet memories to the Hunter, reminding her of simpler times. Few pictures that she has scavenged of Artemis hangs on the otherwise bare walls. Tosemarie is open for a roommate.

RP here.

The former Huntress was carelessly sprawled across her bed, messing up the sheets underneath her. After talking with Harper it had been evident that some people hadn't forgotten about her and she had decided to stay in her dorm to avoid any other nurses that might want to confront her. She was here now, facing the ceiling with a calm, bored expression on her face. Around her finger was a bright red tendril of hair. She was twisting it around, picking at her ends with a small sigh. She'd been in her dorm for a while now and about ready to die of boredom.

Luckily--or perhaps unluckily--for her, there was very soon a loud, brisk knocking on the door. "Rosemarie!" This was Raven's voice, sounding quite irritated. The knocking, though he had been at it for only about three seconds, quickly grew to a banging. The Indian was not at his most patient today, it seemed. "Rosie, I know you're in there. Open the door, would you?" His irritation, though Rosemarie couldn't have known it at the time, was not directed at her but at the staff. Ever since that incident with Phoenix, they had honed in on him and started to watch his every move again, as they had done after he had attacked Domonic in his dorm nearly a year ago--and he did not appreciate it. He hadn't been able to shake them for the past day, and so he came to the ex-Hunter's room, figuring that it was as safe a haven as he could get to. No one would ever suspect that she'd let anyone into that room of hers, not even her boyfriend. And boy did he need a haven. At the moment, Raven was quite literally at the end of his rope, already stretched too thin as it was. He hoped Rosemarie had the good sense not to immediately start snapping at him.

If it had been any other day, the former Huntress would have snapped at the sadist for making so much noise, but she was so bored that she was rather thrilled to have him as company today. Quickly, she hopped off of her bed and opened the door, blue eyes staring up quizzically at him. As happy as she was to see his not smiling face, she wondered what the urgency was and why he sounded so irritated. As far as she knew, she hadn't done anything to him, and she definitely hadn't tried to. In fact, she had tried to do good by her promise and be the most perfect little sadist-in-training she could be. "Hi," she greeted as she opened the door wider so he could enter. "What's wrong? Did I do something again?"

"No." Raven headed right inside without another word, and didn't speak again until he flopped down on top of her bed with an exasperated groan. "The staff don't know the meaning of the words 'leave me be', do they?" he said to the ceiling, by way of explanation. "God! Everywhere I look there's a nurse, hovering over my shoulder and making sure I don't shank the person I'm talking to or whatever the hell they're concerned about me doing these days." He sat up, so that he was no longer taking up three-quarters of the bed--it was a little bed and he was a big boy--and looked at Rosemarie. "So yeah. Hi. Thanks for letting me in. Close the door?" The last phrase was said as a question and not a command; the Indian didn't want to be too rude. He'd already barged into her room and started occupying her general sleeping space.

She nodded, but took a quick glance around the hallway before shutting the door. It seemed that Raven's loud outburst hadn't alerted anyone outside, so no one would think of him to be here. He was safe, it seemed. She turned back to the large Indian on her bed and moved to join him, although there wasn't anywhere to really go. Raven took up most of the bed, and so Rosemarie ended up half on the mattress and half on the sadist, though she doubted he would really mind. "Why do you think I've been hiding out in here? No one will bother me in here. Well, except you, apparently." She smirked to show she was merely teasing him. "What did you do, anyways? I haven't heard that you've done anything nasty recently."

Raven saw Rosemarie's perch, smirked a little, and pulled her the rest of the way up onto his lap with a little chuckle and a teasing kiss to the top of her head. "You can pretty much sit on me whenever you want, you know," he told her, for the moment ignoring her questions in favor of the tease (or was it a tease at all?) "You're small. I don't care." And it was--though he of course would never be caught dead saying it out loud--nice to have someone around who didn't either want to wring his neck, run away screaming, or put him in a padded room. Contact with Rosemarie was never forced and, more often then not, consensual, which made it easier to do and gave him less things to stress over. "As to what I did, nothing. Absolutely nothing. I met Carlos's little friend in the basement yesterday, and I played a really short game with her--on that I am by no means thinking about dropping, not that the staff are aware of that--but that's pretty much it. No new horror stories, anyway. But the nurses are still running around acting like I've just waved a gun in someone's face and threatened to shoot them. Which I didn't."

"I'll keep that in mind," the former Huntress said with a small smile as she settled down on his lap that fit her easily enough. She found it almost funny how she had at first hated his touch and would have tried to avoid it, and now she was completely willing to sit on his lap. It was now a comfortable thing instead of a loathing one. "I hardly think the nurses would care if you did that to Juana. After all, they can't exactly yell at you for talking to a patient. They don't have proof that you harmed her, mostly because you didn't." She shrugged, not knowing the answer to why they would want to harass Raven for not doing anything, and leaned comfortably against his side as one arm rested lightly across his stomach. "Though some of the staff have been on my ass, too. That deaf volunteer--Harper?-- she confronted me today, warning me to leave everyone alone or she would take action." It still irritated her a little, how she had basically threatened her, but she didn't let it show. No use stirring up angry feelings when she was in such a peaceful and pleasant position.

Raven raised an eyebrow. "Really? Why would she do that? Don't tell me she's up-in-arms about Phoenix, too." It was amazing how many staff personnel knew about the German redhead by now, and it was even more amazing that all of them adored her so much. Had nobody read her file except for him and Rosemarie? Sometimes he couldn't help but think that that must be the case, that the staff were thinking 'like mother like daughter' and pretending that there couldn't have been much wrong with Phoenix because nothing was much wrong with her mother. But he shrugged, not looking all too concerned, and gave the former Hunter another gentle kiss, to the tip of her ear this time, right on the scar. He could sense--if not see--the irritation the thoughts were causing Rosemarie. "I wouldn't worry too much about it, inadá. She's a volunteer. She can't do anything big and probably doesn't have the guts to besides. She probably knows at least a little about what I could do to her if you only said the word."

A small "mhmmm" came from Rosemarie, and she rolled her eyes at the thought. "She's knew, too, so I don't understand why she's so protective of her too. I told her to mind her own business and that Phoenix already had her revenge, but she wouldn't listen and insisted that I victimized her, though I'll admit to you I did. Harper doesn't need to know that." Rosemarie had gotten more worked up than she had realized until Raven's small kiss calmed her back down and the slight flicker of anger faded from her eyes. The small kiss was returned, his just underneath his jaw. The strange constant warmth of his skin helped her to relax even more, and she went completely limp when she had let her body stiffen slightly. "Yeah, I know that, but it still made me kinda mad. And no," she said with a slight shake of her head. "No, we decided you don't have to do that anymore. If there's a problem, I can handle it."

"Just like you handled Jason?" Raven said dryly. He gave a little roll of his eyes, but ran his fingers gently through her hair to show that no, he wasn't still angry about that and was simply making a point. "Forget it, my little inadá. You're never going to get me off of your back, no matter how capable to think you are or actually end up becoming. I'm always going to worry about you, as long as we're in here together." And that was the truth. The Indian had let too many people down over his years, been rather neglectful to friends...to family. He didn't plan on making the same sort of mistakes twice, and sure, here was a rather odd place to prove that, but it was what he had to work with and what he was going to work with. He gave his head a little shake to clear it and gave Rosemarie a little squeeze around the middle, lips curving up into a small smile. "Let's talk about happier things, though," he told her. "No need to get worked up about things right now, is there?"

Touched by his words, a little smile on her lips. She wrapped her arms around his middle, and gave him a little squeeze. She better understood Raven now after their last argument, and although she wanted to prove that yes, she could handle herself from time to time, she wasn't going to stop him from doing what he felt he needed to do, and she also loved that he cared enough about her to want to worry about her and defend her if she needed it. "Thank you," she said quietly, finding one of his hands and linking their fingers together. "And not that you really need it, but all the same goes to you." She thought she had been able to display that and if she hadn't, she could tell him. "What happy topic do you want to talk about, then?" She asked him with a little tilt of her head.

"Well, we could pick up where we left off in the park," Raven suggested. "You know, before the fire. You were...what, again? Debunking stereotypical myths with me?" The hands around her middle squeezed, teasingly. Then one hand crept up, the first two fingers walking up the gentle curve of Rosemarie's spine, and the Indian chuckled softly. "Or were we doing something else at the time? I can't exactly remember. Refresh my memory, sweetheart, would you?"

The former Huntress laughed aloud, a large smile taking the place of the smaller one from earlier. The hands around his middle moved to the hem of his shirt and began to tug until she had pulled it up and over, first moving his hands away from her back to remove the cotton material. "First of all, you were shirtless for some reason or other." A small chuckle of amusement escaped her then. She could at least try and act innocent for once, she decided, no matter how much bullshit it obviously was. "And we might have been talking about stereotypes, but I think we had moved to a topic more like this." She leaned forward slightly, her cherub lips pressing in soft kisses to Raven's neck.

"Oh really? Okay. I can go there, too." Raven let out a low laugh and tilted the ex-Hunter's head up mid-kiss, so that he could press his lips against hers in a lingering kiss. Both hands moved down to Rosemarie's waist, toying gently with the hem of her shirt, and the Indian broke the kiss to murmur, "What else were you saying? Something about my welfare...concern about how many clothes you had on...me, escorting you to a dorm at some point..." He couldn't stop a little chuckle from escaping him. Playing innocent was going to end up killing his nerves. It simply wasn't possible to play innocent with someone like Rosemarie for long, even if playing not-innocent only entailed something as simple as taking off his--and her--shirt. He did not consider himself, after all, the type to be able to go slow for too long. Especially with a teaser, which Rosemarie certainly was.

"I'm always concerned with your welfare, sweetie," she murmured back, trying to pay no mind to the hands toying with her shirt. She could keep up her act for a while, but with the way Raven was playing, probably not for long. Already, the young girl's patience was being tested. "There might have been something to do with my clothes, and I remember a dorm, which we're already in, but my memories still a bit foggy, dear." She lifted her head to return the kiss, which she had waited for a decent amount of time to return-- at least she thought so. The kiss didn't last very long--yet another tease-- before the former Huntress moved her head until her lips hovered over the sadist's ear. "My memory is pretty bad, too." A light, gentle kiss was delivered to his ear.

Raven chuckled. "Yes? Well, let's skip the remembering part then, shall we? Since we're both so terrible at it." Another moment and the sadist-in-training had been picked right up off the bed and flipped over on her back, and the Indian ended up leaning over her to deliver a kiss to first the tip of her nose, then her cheeks, then her chin, and lastly her lips. She wanted to tease? He could show her tease--none of these kisses lasted more than two seconds. The hands that had been toying with her shirt snuck up underneath it, either teasing it upwards over her head or simply walking his fingers about her stomach. Or both. Right now, he wasn't entirely sure what he wanted to do, though he was still (mostly) in control of his thoughts.

Raven, as usual, had taken her by surprise, allowing a loud gasp to escape her. It wouldn't do much for the tease, but that innocence that had been hanging by a thread was starting to come back because of it. "That's okay with me," she said finally, and instead of smacking his hands away in another tease as she had first intended, she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck so that they were close to each other. More importantly, her lips were less than an inch from his own. "This is just as fun, anyways." She kissed his cheek and then the tip of his nose, returning to his lips so that they were brushing but not yet touching. It seemed that today, whether it be from her self-isolation or that she was just having a good day, Rosemarie was excelling at being a tease.

"Oh, come on now." Raven gave a soft groan of exasperation and closed the distance between them, so that his lips were once again pressed against hers. Rosemarie's shirt finally came up and over her head, and his hands slid beneath the waves of red hair to cup it. "You can't make this too bad for me, Rosemarie. It may not be possible to die from desire, but if you keep this up, we're going to find out for sure." He gave a quiet chuckle. "And I don't want to die yet. I'm so new to all of life's treasures. You, for instance."

The former Huntress allowed herself a small giggle and buried her head into the crook of the Indian's neck where more soft kisses were pressed, though they were less teasing than before. "I don't want you to die," she told him with a little smirk of amusement. The former Huntress could admit, she was satisfied to see Raven was more impatient than she was. Her teasing had gotten to him quite a bit, and she loved it. "I don't see the problem, though, honey. Shouldn't you be able to take some teases? I thought it was your specialty." She allowed herself to give in, which was an easy thing to do now, and pressed her lips to his while on of her hands wound into his black hair and the other was pressed against the center of his bare back.

"Listen you," the Indian growled with mock severity, "I came in here to get away from the torment of the asylum, not to indulge in it. Give the poor bird a break, would you?" His grin and the way he trailed kisses down her face--hairline, cheek, lips, jaw, neck, and finally chest--proved that he wasn't actually all that serious, but his sentiment remained the same: while he certainly could take teases, ones like these were significantly harder to resist. Nonetheless, to prove to the ex-Hunter that she hadn't won quite yet, he refrained from moving his hands down to her bare chest, as he had intended to do a moment before. "I think you owe me an apology, Rosie," Raven said, his voice suddenly right next to her ear, his lips barely touching the skin there. "Don't you? I don't deserve all this hazing. A boy can only take so much, you know."

Rosemarie shuddered at the sadist's kisses. She thought she was the one who was teasing, but Raven apparently, no matter how tortured he claimed to be, was able to dish out quite a few more than he could bring in. "You are horrible," she growled at him, but the teasing light in her eyes showed that the growl was just another little tease, though more of a joke for her. "I'm sorry that you can't handle me," she said with a laugh. Her lips caught his again, pressing against them in a long, slow kiss that perhaps was the real apology or was just another tease. "I don't think this is hardly the worst type of torture you could endure, you know," she added and with both arms slipping around his broad middle, the former Huntress pulled him closer.

"Ah, but now who's giving in?" Raven chuckled, sliding one hands doubt from underneath Rosemarie's head so that he could do a little flip with one of her red curls. "You're not quite impressing me anymore with your will, inadá. You used to, but now..." he trailed off, pointedly pressing a kiss against the cool skin of her neck. The others had made her shiver, and they were hardly teases at all--what would one pressed against the more vulnerable part of her body do? The Indian was eager to find out; because it was, in all reality, quite amusing.

"It's not the same thing," she argued just as goosebumps broke out on her skin. "I'm not begging you to stop this unruly torture of teases. These are simply things I can't control. I can't make goosebumps not appear, you know." Hoping to rid her skin of the small bumps on her skin, Rosemarie pressed her lips on his neck, along his collarbone, and down his chest as far as she could reach while underneath him. These were also more teases as if it were his punishment for making fun of her. The warmth of his skin made the goosebumps go away and a small smirk appear on the former Huntress's face.

Raven returned her smirk, a gentle kiss being pressed against her lips before he finally replied, "All right, fine. We've reached a stalemate and very possibly a draw. But I refuse to admit to defeat just yet, inadá." He gave a quiet chuckle, and then began to toy with feigned absentmindedness with the button and the zipper of Rosemarie's jeans. He figured she wouldn't mind at this point; foreplay and teases were all well and good, but the Indian could tell that underneath the laughter and the snark, his ex-Hunter was just as eager as he was, if not moreso.

((Fade or fast-forward?))

Upon looking at the former Huntress, one would have thought she was sleeping, and it most certainly looked like she was. Her eyes were shut in a way that wasn't tight or forced, and her lips were pulled down and slightly parted in a peaceful frown-like gesture. The only thing to tell that the redhead wasn't in a deep sleep was the hand that was embedded in dark black locks, running her fingers through the hair constantly even though her fingertips were beginning to grow wary of the action. She then opened her eyes all of a sudden, her lips pulling upwards into a smile. She used her opposite elbow (the one with the hand not in Raven's hair) and pushed herself slightly upright over the Indian she was sharing quarters with. "This is the perfect way to get staff off our back, you know," she commented, smile growing wider as if the comment struck her as funny.

((Yep.))

"What, hiding out in your room and sleeping together is going to get the staff off our backs?" Raven smirked. "I don't know how it was where you were raised, Rosemarie, but back home whenever anybody got a significant other adults would want to know where they were and what the did every single second of the day and possibly even the night." He snickered at her, just a little, and delivered a teasing swat to her arm. "Hooking up was a big deal. You had to get your mother's approval and he or she had to get their mother's approval, and then the fathers got a say in matters--not a lot, but a bit." The Cherokee society was a very matriarchic one. The Indian couldn't help but wonder with a smirk just what his mother would have thought about him dating someone from outside the tribe--she had been very traditional. He couldn't help but think that as soon as he mentioned her ethnicity she would have been kicked politely out of the house. "Anyway," he went on, trying to keep the amusement out of his voice, "it was a long and tedious process. I'm sure it was at least a little where you grew up, too. Are you saying that the adults here don't give a rat's ass?"

A heavy sigh from Rosemarie turned into an irritated groan. She pressed her forehead to the Indian's chest and shook her head at him, though she was hiding a smile from him. Though the mention of parents approving their relationship made her wonder about her parents. As far as she knew, they didn't have any preference towards anyone Rosemarie would choose to have as a significant other, so long as he ended up being good for her. She was wondering if they would find Raven as a "good catch" when it occurred to her that it didn't really matter. Raven's parents were dead, and she would probably never see hers again. At the rate she was going, she was looking at a long life in the asylum. The thought made her a bit sad until she remembered that Raven probably awaited the same fate as her. At least they would have each other in a hell hole like this one. "That's not what I meant," she said, lifting her head up when her smile ebbed from her lips. "Though that could prove to be an interesting experiment I wouldn't mind to take part of. So long as we aren't harassing anyone, they wouldn't care what we do. What I actually meant, though, was acting completely innocent and cuddly like this with each other out in public. It'd probably crush your reputation a little, but maybe they'd decided we're too infatuated with each other to prey on other patients." A smile fought at her lips as she spoke. Yes, the thought sounded rather ridiculous and laughable, but maybe the staff would buy it. It wouldn't have to be much of an act, either, in the redhead's opinion.

"Gah! God, no!" Raven made a show of looking horrified, shuddering and making a face as if he were forcing himself not to gag. "That sounds like the worst idea in the universe. I can't do this all the time, Rosie!" He, too, was fighting back a smile, but for the sake of the tease was managing it--barely. "Do you have any idea how quickly my reserves of niceness would dry up? If I tried to act like this with you all the time instead of just in private, the part of me that goes crazy on people is going to change its mind and start tearing me up from the inside out." He shook his head quickly, as if emphasizing how much aversion he had to the idea. "Besides, there is such a thing as too much sugary goodness. And I tell you, if I had to do this in public with you, the entire world would get diabetes or something." He couldn't help it anymore; a wide smile of amusement parted his lips, and he laughed. "And it would do a little more than crush my reputation a little--it would completely flatten it. Which I will allow to happen when hell freezes over, and maybe not even then." The Indian gave Rosemarie a little peck on the lips, as if this amended his outright refusal of her idea. "So no, sweetheart, I'm going to have to passionately decline. Nice of you to offer, though."

The redhead rolled her eyes at him in a rather dramatic fashion, though the kiss was returned and she smiled after their lips broke away from each other. He could be such an ass sometimes, and every time he did so, it made her laugh as she did now. "Come on, now. Is bing nice to me really that awful? Am I so terrible that it pains you to be nice to me? Because if so, I must say that that hurts me a lot, honey." As if to show how much he had hurt her, Rosemarie placed a hand over her heart and looked at him with widened eyes and a puckered out lower lip. All in amusement, of course, because Rosemarie couldn't picture them like this all the time as much as Raven could. The basement was as much as she could think to let this kind of affection leave either of their dorms, and that was because the basement was usually empty and no one would probably see them if they decided to lounge together on the large couch. But still, to be nice all the time would kill the former Huntress. Their teases and their game would all but be lost in the sugary kindness, and that would truly be a horrible thing.

"Awww. Well, uyo ayeládi. I didn't mean to hurt you." But he snickered a little, breaking what was supposed to at least sound like a sincere apology--in Cherokee, no less. Raven smirked a little. "Being nice to you isn't that awful, no," he explained, "except for when you're being bigheaded and, you know, terrible. But that's not often, so being kind to you is usually quite easy." To prove this the Indian wrapped both arms around Rosemarie's middle and pulled her to him in a hug, then murmured "See?" into her ear as he gave her a little kiss on the tip. He pulled back, then looked at her with now mock severity. "You better quit pouting though, inadá," he told her, "or else all my respect for you is going to go flying out the window. I can appreciate strong women--whiny ones, not so much." Much like the rest of his tribe, he thought with a private little chuckle. Women were expected to take on roles that men usually took up everywhere else--the head of the house, seats on councils, things like that. It was amusing to think of a girl such as Rosie assuming any of those positions--she was just such a...well, teenager. A typical (or not-so-typical) all-American sixteen-year-old girl. It was funny to imagine her as anything else.

The pout disappeared to be replaced by a large smile of amusement, one that showed most of her teeth. "Okay, okay, I believe you, love," she said with a small chuckle, wrapping her arms around his neck when he hugged her to return it. A small peck was delivered to his lips as if to get rid of the severity in the voice. "I'm glad to know that I'm not terrible all the time." She laid a head comfortably on his shoulder, looking at the way his jaw curved in its chiseled manner across to his ear that was concealed by hair (she had taken it out of the ponytail earlier to play with his dark locks) and down again to his strong chin. Unlike Rosemarie, Raven to her seemed anything but ordinary. Not only just because of his ethnic background, but some of the things he said, how he said things, and some things that he did weren't typical of most his age, and she liked that he was different. "Tell me then," she began with a light poke to his side to bring his attention to her again. "Which does it make me when I'm on my knees begging for forgiveness? Because I don't know about you, but I wouldn't call it strong but it amuses you all the same." The teasing was in her tone still, although she figured that what she was asking should have been rather serious, she took it as another little good-natured tease.

"That's when I make the exception," Raven told her with a smirk. "Because usually, when you're on your knees begging me for forgiveness. you completely and utterly need to be there. Otherwise, I wouldn't be comfortable with you going to such extremes." He laughed a little, proving that no matter what he said he would be comfortable with it, simply because it pleased him to be the dominant one in a group. "And anyway, it's not like I can count that as whininess either. It's more like a...respect sort of thing. Like a kowtow. Sometimes I deserve shows of respect like that, Rosie. I know it's hard to accept, but it's true." While he wasn't serious, the Indian was smirking at the girl and nudging her almost pointedly away from him, as if she wasn't worthy enough to be touching him anymore now that his authority had been challenged. It was an absurd thought, considering what they had just been doing for the past hour, but it was hilarious to boot and he supposed that was why he ran with it.

"Mhhmm," came his reply to her question, obviously not very thrilled with his answer, and his laugh only further convinced her to not be overjoyed. "Well, if you're expecting that often, you're going to be very disappointed because that will not be done again unless it's entirely necessary. Plus, that little form of respect will only enlarge your ego, and nobody needs that." The small laugh that came after proved that it was just a tease as did the kiss she delivered to his jawline. She slapped his nudging away with a playful growl, only moving closer to him just to aggravate him. "A lot of things may have changed since I've come here, Raven, but one thing that's the same is I am still a feminist." Her arms pressed down on his shoulders as if she were pinning him down, which was nearly impossible to do because she was still mostly laying at his side and her grip on his shoulders was hardly any pressure. "Just because you're the male does not make you dominant." Another little kiss to contradict the seriousness in her voice. This one was placed just near the corner of his mouth.

"You're absolutely right, Rosie," Raven said with a grin. Quick as a flash, both of her hands were his and he was pressing them to the top of her head as if she were a criminal and he the prosecuting officer. He held them there, quite pointedly, as if daring his little inadá to fight back against him even though she knew it was futile. "However, the fact that I am male and stronger than you does make me dominant, and if you have an issue with that, you can lodge a complaint with the back of my hand as it comes into contact with your face." The chuckle that came after the words proved that he wasn't serious, though the growl in his voice was fairly authentic. "I think we ought to understand each other better now, don't you?" It was hard to act threatening when you were lying in the same bed with the girl, half naked [I'm assuming they at least put their pants back on] but that didn't stop him from trying. In the Indian's own opinion, he was doing quite a good job.

"I am faster than you," Rosemarie shot back with a small laugh. She had at first been nervous when Raven had lunged at her, and it had showed, but now it was gone quick as a flash and she was back to teasing. "Though you do a good job of acting scary so for now, I will have to agree. Emphasize on for now, and that's only because you have me bound." She wriggled herself upward to deliver him a long kiss on the lips which was quite possibly a bribe or a symbol of her defeat. She pulled back, batting her lashes at him with a small smile. "Can you let me go now? I've admitted your dominance for today."

"All right, fine." Raven released her hands, amused on the inside and glowering on the outside. He gave Rosemarie a little shove as if to remind her that he could have her on the floor whenever he wanted. "But I'm letting you off easy," he warned in his best powerful-authority-figure voice. "Just remember that, inadá. You are very fortunate--I like you too much to do anything all that bad. Thank the sprits for that--or Artemis, or whoever it is you worship now." A pause, and the Indian broke off from the tease to give the ex-Hunter a genuinely curious look. "Or do you still consider her your goddess? You broke off from her teachings, but that doesn't necessarily mean you stopped worshipping her, does it?" After all, there were Christians who didn't hold complete faith in their God but still found it in them to believe in some divine figure. He was curious to know about Rosemarie's thoughts on the subject.

Rosemarie fell back against the mattress thoughtfully, somewhat surprised that Raven had even asked. He usually didn't care too much about her former religion, and only brought it up for a tease. She wondered why he was so curious now. Maybe it was his way of making sure that she had kept her promise she made him in the graveyard what seemed like forever ago. "Well, I know I told you I completely left her for your favor, but I don't know if I really did. It's a hard thing to do, as you can probably imagine." He had, after all, been raised in what she was given the impression of as a strict family that was extremely strict on traditions. He could imagine how hard it would be to drop his religion. "I try to, so there's no more conflict, but if I'm having problems of any kind I sometimes find myself praying to her for help or for advice. Does that make you mad?" She asked him, running a hand up one of his dark arms, watching her hand run up the bareness of his skin and not looking at his face. On purpose or not, she didn't know.

"Of course it doesn't." Raven sounded genuinely shocked that Rosemarie would even consider that a possibility. "Why would that make me mad? You can still believe in Artemis without following all of her teachings to the letter, you know. In the ancient times, not everyone who worshipped the Greek goddess of nature and hunting was a Hunter, right?" The Indian raised his eyebrows pointedly at her, knowing the answer to his own question--he was just pointing something out. "Why would that change for you, then, in modern times? I'm assuming you think you can't believe in Artemis without being a Hunter, which doesn't make any sense to me. Why is that?" Contrary to Rosemarie's beliefs, the Indian did not actually want to tease her, nor was he trying to get her to confirm her loyalty to him--he was truly curious, and the fact that Rosemarie seemed so concerned about that went as far as to worry him slightly.

Relief openly came into the girl's face. She sat up again, wrapping an arm around his side and pressing her head against his cheek. "I don't know." A little sigh escaped her. "I've always been a Hunter, though, so I guess it's kind of weird to still believe in her--and all of the other gods and goddesses--when I'm not a Hunter." She was glad that Raven understood and still encouraged her to follow her religion. She heard the slight worry in his voice and couldn't help but feel bad again. She didn't want him to worry about her, either, or her loyalty in him, which was one of her main concerns now.

"You're fine, Rosemarie," Raven reassured her, gently. He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head. "If I can still believe as I was taught to without all the trimmings and trappings--ceremonies, traditional clothes, all of that--then you can still believe like you do without being a Hunter." Though he did have several outfits which he'd often worn back home--all of which were rather traditional--he had hardly touched any of them, not even on important festival days or other such occasion. It hurt a little too much to do--something he was sure Rosemarie could understand if he were to confide that in her. They were, it seemed, more similar than either of them thought when it came to religious troubles. He held nothing against her for continuing her worship of Artemis, and he wouldn't so long as she didn't start using it as an excuse to get away from him.

[Again. XD]

A smile of clear relief broke over the cherub lips of the former Hunter. She allowed herself to nuzzle against the side of his neck for a moment while she indulged in his sweetness which as they established was something to take advantage of. After pressing a gentle kiss behind his ear, she pulled back to face him, eyebrow raised and lips pulled up in a smirk. "Wait, did you say traditional clothing? Please tell me that your clothing consists of some sort of robe made of deer hide and covered in all kinds of beads with a headband covered in raven feathers? Because I would be lying if I said I've never pictured you in something along those lines." She had also pictured Raven in bright war paint, though she didn't mention it. Where would they find war paint in an asylum? In truth, the redhead dreamed often, especially if she had a deep sleep. From time to time, she would dream of the sadist, and in her weirder dreams, he would be dressed in the attire she had just described, war paint and all.

"I do have several outfits made out of deerskin, yes," Raven replied, completely serious. He raised an eyebrow, unsmiling--why was that a funny question to Rosemarie? "They aren't robes, though. Just a couple pairs of pants and some shirts. Women wear robes. And yes, I do have a lot of beads. Some of them are in necklaces, some of them are studding my fancy clothes--you know, the kind of outfit I wear during things like the Green Corn Ceremony and Yuletide and things like that--and some of them Anna used to braid in my hair when we were kids acting out different tribal legends. They're very delicate, though, so I don't actually wear them around here--besides, as you are now proving, I would get laughed at. And no, I don't have a headdress. Headdresses and feathers and such are for really important people, like warriors and councilmen and chieftains. Normal people don't wear them unless they're children and playing pretend or actually trying to mock the elders--which, as I have said before, simply isn't done." Here he paused, and realized that he didn't entirely appreciate the snickering way the ex-Hunter had asked her questions. He scowled, just slightly. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was entertaining you. What the hell do you think this is, Saturday Night Live? Never thought my tribal customs to be all that funny in their own right, Rosemarie Toom."

Rosemarie pressed her lips together in a thin line, blushing just a little at her mistake, the laughter quickly stopping when it had begun. That was dumb of her, she realized, obviously Raven would be protective of his religion as much as she would be of her own. It was hard to remember sometimes, the way Raven teased about stereotypes and such, but his traditions and religion were different, and she shouldn't have laughed. "I'm sorry," she said, biting her lower lips slightly. The hand on his arm moved to the back of his neck and gave it an affectionate squeeze. "I didn't mean to be rude. It's just that the thought of you in your traditional clothing isn't something I'm used to, and I dunno, the image in my head is sort of amusing, but not in a rude way if you understand that." In all honesty, if Raven decided to wear deerskin clothes one of these days, she would have chuckled at the sight. Raven in deerskin clothing would probably an adorable thing to see, so the former Hunter thought. "It would be cute, actually," she added.

"Cute," Raven repeated dubiously. He raised a questioning eyebrow. "Why would they be cute? They're just clothes, but instead of cotton they're made of animal hide. What's the big deal?" The Indian truly didn't get it. Those were the type of clothes he'd grown up wearing, after all--he didn't see it any more amusing than the thought of a person wearing jeans. Unless, of course, Rosemarie was using the word 'cute' to mean 'attractive' rather than 'adorable', but even then he had a hard time figuring out what the appeal would be. They were, again, just clothes. She'd seen him in clothes every single time she'd met him. For once, Rosemarie's gentle touch was not returned, and the sadist just sat and looked at her with his head tilted slightly, as if she were a child who'd just finished talking about some completely improbable fantasy.

Rosemarie shrugged, sitting up a little and sliding out from underneath the Indian just slightly, taking a part of her sheet with her as she did so. "I don't know, it would be something different. That and seeing you shoot a bow and arrow would be extremely attractive to me." The clothes was more because yes, it was different and interesting to see him in traditional clothing as well as a way to try and regain the affectionate air they'd had before she had--again--opened her big mouth. The bow, though, was more of a fact that it would impress her and it would be something they had in common. Not many people could shoot well or look successful while attempting it, so it was another thing that the redhead would find appealing, not necessarily an Indian stereotype. She didn't think she could make Raven understand, though. It was things like this that Rosemarie wasn't so good at explaining and she didn't think Raven would be able to understand with her lack of explaining. She blamed it on the fact that she was a girl, Raven was a guy, and there were sometimes language barriers between the two genders that had to be worded around and avoided as much as possible.

This brought a grin to Raven's broad features. "Really?" he said, with a little laugh. "So if I were to meet you in the park tomorrow wearing buckskin, and you were to let me borrow your bow and a couple of arrows and I shot a few decently, bada-bing bada-bang I suddenly become hot as hell?" The thought brought on another laugh, this one louder and longer, and the Indian reached out a hand to tickle Rosemarie underneath the chin--perhaps as a tease, perhaps to make her laugh. Perhaps even both. "Well, what would you say if I decided to make that fantasy of yours a reality, inadá? Just this one time? The spirits know I've been doing plenty of that lately, anyway." Pointedly he gestured down at their still-intertwined bodies, a little smirk appearing on his face at the tease. He hadn't been kidding, though; if Rosemarie said yes, he would actually consider doing that for her. Not because it heightened his sex appeal but because it would be different, a form of bonding that they hadn't ever done before. They could make a date of it if they wanted, even. And he could use it as a chance to further debunk any other Indian stereotypes the ex-Hunter could have running around in her head.

[They have never technically had a planned-out date before. O:]

His tickling did bring the former Huntress to giggle a little, and that turned into a laugh--sometimes she found Raven's good humor insanely infectious--before she smacked his hand away from her face only to grab it and intertwine their fingers together, much like their bodies were. She pressed her cherub lips to each of his knuckles, even the little dips in between them. Not exactly a tease, though it could be taken as one, but another little gesture of affection. "Really?" She asked him with a bright smile, thinking that he was joking. The thought seemed ridiculous, and just to make her happy? "I don't care what everyone else says about you, I think you're pretty amazing." She leaned forward again so their shoulders touched to press her lips against his and then to each side of his mouth where his lips curved into an end. "I think it would be fun. Is there anything I can do to appeal to any of your secret fantasies while we're at it?" As far as wardrobe, Rosemarie didn't have anything special other than her usual attire of jeans and t-shirts, though she had some more decent articles hanging around and of course the plain white cotton robe she often wore when she prayed to Artemis. It was usually only worn when she offered a sacrifice, and had hardly been touched since her arrival. If there was anything else Raven would want, though, she didn't see any reason to refuse him.

((I know, 'tis why I suggested it.))

Raven raised his eyebrows, and went as far as to chuckle a little at the questions. "Secret fantasies?" he repeated. "Rosemarie, the only secret fantasy I have is the one where you and I break out of this hellhole together and go live in the woods or something. That would be wonderful." Part of that particular fantasy, of course, did involve violence (namely, quite a few murders of choice nurses and guards) but of course the Indian didn't mention that out loud. Instead, as he spoke, he returned her little kisses: first to Rosemarie's lips, then both cheeks, then the hollow of her throat. He leaned back to continue, "But since that's not a possibility, our little date will have to do. Think you can handle it if I set my disease-ridden hands on your precious hunting equipment?" A little smirk, now, as he referenced their first several meetings, when the ex-Hunter (then devout Hunter) had insisted upon calling him a 'grotesque specimen' and 'disease-ridden male.' It was fun to gloat about how much that had changed because of him every now and again. He didn't think he'd ever be able to let Rosemarie completely live it down.

The thought of his fantasy, which oddly wasn't one she had ever thought before, brought a little smile to her lips, though there was a touch of sadness in her eyes when she did. It was a wonderful thought, but would most likely fail horribly if attempted and then, deciding that the two couldn't be trusted and were too dangerous, would probably ship them off to separate asylums or worse, leave one here where memories were around every corner while the other was shipped off. If something of the sort were to ever happen, the former Huntress decided she would rather kill herself than spend the rest of her life miserable. The thought of an escape being successful, though, and them living together in the woods (maybe even sneaking out Morgan as well), was a perfect scenario to play in he head from time to time. She smiled more in amusement now, the sadness leaving her eyes completely when she leaned forward to deliver him a kiss to his forehead, the bridge of his nose, bis chin, and finally his lips. "I think I could manage so long as you behave with it. The second you do something stupid, you are never allowed to touch it again." She lowered her tone into a growl that was a semi-tease. She was still incredibly possessive of her bow, and she loved it despite it only being a piece of wood and string. She then gestured towards the two of them with a raised eyebrow. She was again nearly on his lap, their bodies entwined and pressed tightly against each other. "I think I've gotten used to your foulness, wouldn't you agree?" She chuckled and gave him another light kiss on the lips.
