Did anyone else really enjoy the way Tracey Gravis told this story from both the perspective of Anna and TJ? It just made it such a beautiful easy read for me. I wish I could find more authors that did that sort of thing.

It was an "easy" read because of the poorly way it was written. It doesn't have to be a difficult read, because that would take the pleasure away, but it wasn't a "great" read. Don't get me wrong, it was a story I enjoyed immensely. The story, the characters, the setting... It was believable and touching. It was missing the feeling of a well-written novel however, and that's what made me rate it lower than I would've liked.

I enjoyed both perspectives, it was nice knowing what both Anna and TJ were thinking. I loved this book!

The Vincent Boys is written from both perspectives also. I love that style of writing.

I loved that she showed both perpectives. It was great seeing it through both characters eyes!

I really loved the style also. It was nice to actually read both of their perspectives and what they were each thinking. Just got done about 4 days ago and loved the ending , but didn't want it to end at all !!

Yep I loved it. It was actually the second book I've read like that in a few weeks. The other one was Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1) by Katie McGarry . It's a young adult contemporary romance and I HIGHLY recommend it.

I think this book was beautifully written as well! I just finished the Memory Thief by Emily Colin. It's written in 3 characters' perspectives and is a lovely book as well, though I loved On the Island a lot more.

i just finished this book, and i loved it. I dont think it would have been as good just told from one side. It really did take both sides to make it a great read, I do agree that TJ was really mature for his age and agree with Henry with the whole they had the same voice the same writting and personality as the other character. Tj character could have stood out a little more. But over all I loved the book :)

Yes! I loved reading both POV....after reading it myself...I had my husband and I read it together. I read Anna's chapters and he read T.J.'s chapters.
It was so much fun reading it that way!

I really think the double perspective for this book was perfect. To get into both characters' heads really worked for this one. I loved it so much! I hope her next book is as good!

Loved loved loved this book ! Once you are open- minded enough to start it you cannot put it down ! Can't wait for the Tracey Garvis-Graves' next novel !

Yes I really loved seeing things from both perspectives. It was a great read and I was up all night reading it. I had to finish it in one sitting!

I agree! It was so easy to read and stay attune to the story. I am thinking of rereading it over the summer!

I enjoyed both perspectives but I don't think the author personalized them enough. It came off to me like a woman in her 30s and a young man in his late teens each told their story to a ghost writer who 18 months later wrote the book. They seemed to be the same voice, told from different perspectives. The woman came off more genuine, but the teen seemed a little too mature and far too understanding.
