I'm going to jump in for my first read-a-thon. I really need a boost to my reading right now.

Question: I read through the info thread, and perhaps I just missed this. When does the 24-hour marathon day take place? Is it a particular designated day within the read-a-thon week, or do we just choose a day during that week that we want to use? (I want to do both the week and the 24-hour marathon day, as my fiance will be out of town one day during that week, and my teenage son will be busy much of the same day, so it would be a great reading day!)

Count me in too!! This will be my 1st. A 24 hour marathon just isn't possible for me but I will be in a car for 5 hours on Sunday to increase my reading time for the week - a bonus to my husband liking to drive when we travel :)

I'm in. I accidentally scheduled a long weekend home from school this weekend, so I won't be dedicating as much time to reading until about half way through the week. Nonetheless, it looks like a great time to catch up on my reading goals!

Sad, sad, sad. I am so sad! I was looking forward to this, but it was the last week of school, and my students turned in so much late work that I was stuck grading all week and didn't log on to me goodreads account until today. Grades will be in by Thursday, so can I join for the last 3 days? This is my first one, so I am not sure how it works....
