Jace because he is an amazing character. I totally wouldn't mind if he had to save me from a demon. Also, I like Clary because she reminds me of myself, except I suck at drawing.
If I was a character from MI, I'd be Maia.

Yeah. My favorite characters are Simon & Izzy. If I was one of them, I'd probably be Isabelle.

Sebastian (JC) is actually a pretty cool character. he made me laugh a lot in COLS.
I know lots of people are going to be like, what? when i say this, knowing that my hope that people respect my thoughts will be completely shot down to someplace far far away but...I really hate Magnus in COLS.

why did you hate Magnus? is it because of, um, the part near the end of the book? i think he was justified in what he did there
He just annoys me a bit. I just can't get a good grip on his personality which is frustrating. No, actually, it's because in books, characters are supposed to evolve and change and Magnus...doesn't. Which is probably due to the fact that he'slike, 700 years old but still.
oh i get what you mean.. i'm kinda frustrated about the fact that we barely know anything about him, but hopefully that will change in either clockwork princess or CoHF
i like the fact that he remains pretty much a constant in an ever-changing world :P
I don't think he's a bad character and I wouldn't want him to die I just... I don't know, he's just a sarcastic, occasionally funny warlock to me in COLS. However, I like him a lot more in the Infernal Devices, I guess by the time COLS came, I just started to get a little tired of him.
yeah i like him better in TID too. i feel sorry for him, though.. pretty much everyone he's close to has to die eventually, and he has to watch them grow old and die. have you read 'Magnus's Vow'? so sad :(

BUT I do feel really sad for Magnus' past. He seems to be hurting inside :(

It just upsets me when they really show no emotion. Without emotion, there's not as much to him. That's why I want Cassie to include some more emotion for him. If she did, I'd probably like him a lot more.

Well, about the joking part, I kinda like that Magnus always tries to lighten the mood. I love his sarcasm and humor and since almost everything he says is funny, (at least to me) I really like him.
Plus he does show his emotions, especially in the epilogue of CoLS. And. He. Is. Sparkly. (Ok jk. But srly, I like that he's sparkly. He reminds me of skittles and rainbows... :D)
Anyway, I respect your opinion. At least there's no bashing. Unlike a certain other someone who was criticizing Will in the Team Will vs Team Jem thread not too long ago.
(Sorry, I had to. Haha, being overprotective of Will and Magnus here <3)

Sometimes he annoys me but other times, yes, I do wanna give the guy a hug and thank him for existing in the world which is TID and TMI. I don't very much like him TMI, sometimes I do, but I like him more in TID. I don't know why.

And i always wish to find my own Jace Wayland,Morgenstern,Heronalde!!! I always imagine that he would be mine and that i find a person who loves me like jace loves clary <3
Definitely Alec b/c even though Cassie makes him all dark and rule-sticklery, he has a good heart and he's so sweet. Plus i LOVE Alec+Magnus!

I read TID first, and I thought Magnus sounded forty year old-like, but in TMI I realized he's really taken the form of an eighteen year old.
That's exactly what I thought. I can't really picture him as 18. I keep picturing this old sparkly dude.
