That Boy question

Marie- Jadyn's first time was as a College Freshman with Matt Fuller. She dated him for the entire first semester of her Freshman year. I haven't figured out how that makes her a slut, but whatever. The reason it wasn't really discussed in the book is because the book is about some of the important moments in Phillip/Danny/Jadyn's lives. The moments that affected their relationships. Since her having a college boyfriend and losing her virginity to him didn't affect their friendship, it was not discussed in detail. And in That Boy, I'm pretty sure during Jadyn's four years of college, the only boys mentioned by name were Matt Fuller and Jason O'Connor. (who she dated as a junior.) Hope that clears up any confusion!!

umm actually it wasn't with Phillip. she lost her virginity with Matt although she did have sex with Phillip after she realized she was in love with him.

I found the "first time" thing a little vague as well. But I did absolutely adore the book! =)

Ugggg.... loved this book till the end. I thought I was going to read the second story. I just can't do it, her character was so immature at the end.

she told the mom that she never had sex remember when she was getting convinced to seduce Phillip i think she never did and phillip was the first right?

me too! i thought that Phillip is her first because of that conversation she had with Phillip's Mom.

Still i like how That boy was written so i wanted to read That wedding immediately.

Probably Jadyn's immature and just so afraid that she's alone because of her parents tragedy. and wanted to be strong and forget to balanced her life. and just like to party or to have fun to forget the emptiness she feels.

I didn't really like this one, but i remember Jayden said to Phillip's mom that she hadn't done it, so i guess her first was with Phillip. Unfortunately it wasn't too clear.
