Janine (mrsgoldensun) | 11 comments Are there any old favorite books that are going to be on your summer reads list? For me I plan to reread the Harry Potter series and some of the James Patterson books like Kiss the Girls and Along Came A Spider.

Janine (mrsgoldensun) | 11 comments I have never heard of gemma doyle books. What are they about??

message 7: by Candace (new)

Candace (osucandace) They are by Libba Bray and the first book in the series is "A Great and Terrible Beauty." It's about Gemma finding she has special supernatural powers and growing up in the 1890's.

A Great and Terrible Beauty

Rebel Angels

The Sweet Far Thing

I've always loved these books. I read them when I was like 12, and you know how that goes. You reread them a few years later and think "Wow, I was such an idiot." But recently I reread them, and I found that they stood the test. Now I reread them all the time.
