So to celebrate June being the month of the longest daylight hours in the northern hemisphere and shortest in the southern.

Therefore the challenge for this month is to help you get through some of your to-read list.

Pick a book that you hope/know will be keeping you well past the long hours of daylight (for us in the northern hemisphere) or if you're in the south (keep you up into the hours of daylight).

There will be four levels of difficulty.

Easy: 2-4 books

Medium: 3-7 books

Hard: 6-9 books

Extra-hard: 9+ books

Format:

Medium: 3-7

1. Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh
2. Lover Mine by J.R. Ward
3. The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
4.
5.
6.

Hope you'll take part and help yourself in reducing your to-read list! See you on the other side.

Use the edit tool to inform us once you've finished reading the books on your list!

Thanks.

Matt Hageman Olivia this is not related to the challenge, but the knife of never letting go is an amazing book.

Hey, Matt. That doesn't matter. I have heard a lot about the book too! I bought it without looking at all the hype because I thought it looked good, so I'm quite excited to read it (when I find a spare moment to read through my stack of to-read books).

I was going to try the May challenge, but in truth I did not even come close to reading a book with the letters A or U in the title.

I should be able to make a better attempt at the June challenge. After all, it only demands that I read books I think I will enjoy. That's no hardship, that's what I try to do every month!!. There is no dictionary's in the to-read pile for me.

Medium: 3-7 books

1. The Paid Companion by Amanda Quick
2. Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill
3. Friday Night Bites by Chloe Neill
4. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
5. The Rook by Daniel O'Malley
6. Crave by J.R. Ward
7. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Matt-You are not the first person on Goodreads I've seen recommending The Knife of Never Letting Go so I definitely pick up a copy of it next time I'm buying. Which unfortunately will not be for a few months yet. I seem to have burnt through my full summer budget already.

haha. I wouldn't worry Gavin, I'm failing at the May challenge! I just never read books that I say I will!

Hopefully this month I might!

Medium: 3-7 books

1. Lover Mine by J.R. Ward
2. A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
3. The Penultimate Peril by Lemony Snicket
4. Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
5. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Ooh, I loved A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. It was one of my favorite books ( and series ) that I read last year.

The TV show is pretty good as well, and it follows the plot of the book faithfully.

You are very brave, Lover Mine is not a short book and A Game of Thrones is at least twice as long as that!.

Yes, I know, but I think I should be able to do it. I read fast-ish, so a few days for each one should be good. haha.

I'm very much looking forward to all three that I've listed.
