2.Do you have some tips for teen writers?
Thanks :)
I've always written short stories. I wrote my first novel at 23. Tips for teen writers: Try setting small goals—like writing one page a day. Before you know you'll have a finished book. Trust me, it works. Also - write the kind of book you want to read! That way you know your target audience...you.

So I was wondering if you have any tips for writers who are trying to set a story in a place that they've never visited before?
Thank you! :)

Hi Christina! Don't worry about finding a publisher--just focus on finishing your book. Out of every 100 aspiring writers only a few ever finish their books. Be one of the few!

It's all in the editing. Finish your first draft first. It can be wordy. It can be bad. Edit it later.

Thanks Cat! Either research or, base it on someplace you have visited. For example in Parties & Potions I created a witch's community center. Obviously I have never been to a witch's community center. So I based it on community centers I have been to.
