I used to be extremely nervous before I ran in a big race, especially before I ran in my first national meet. I can sill clearly remember me throwing up, shaking, imagining all the bad stuff that would happen. I eventually got some help and now I have a sports psychiatrist, who is actually my coaches daughter in law! She has helped me so much over the last few year! I have just the right amount of nerves now before I run!
