Spring

What is this that is haunting me?

A dark presence I can't see

That will not let me be

I'm just like a lion's prey

I try and I try to run away

On my shoulder I feel the sun's ray

I bask in the sun's might

Safe until the stroke of night

Around me there is only light

No shadows where it can hide

An still I hear it by my side

Peace again I am denied

I look around and I search

I see a gargoyle on its perch

Marking the entrance to a church

Holy ground would protect

But again I am incorrect

The church had no effect

I can still hear it in my ear

Getting closer it was alomst here

I stood there waiting and shed a tear

I finally figure out how to stop it

I run up a flight of stairs barely lit

The ground I was about to hit

On the top of the church now I jump...

Oh. Um, I've ran out of inspiration and can't think of anything to write.
My music source had been cut off...No music = No (of severe lack of) inspiration. :(

I JUST HAD A RANDOM SPURT OF INSPIRATION! FINALLY!

(Warning: It is just a tad disturbing...)

Dead flowers on the staircase,
A vase lay shattered on the bottom step,
Blood dripping down the steps,
A hand hanging limply from the shadows,
Its body crumbled at the staircase peak,
Broken bones so frail and weak,
The hunter puts his hammer down and kicks the body down the stairs,
Now all we see is an innocent accident,
As the hunter cleans his bloodied hammer.
