I thought this book was brilliant! Did anyone else think it was the best book of the year?

No you are not the only person in love with this book. It was freaking awesome. I keep going to the author's website (pretty much every other day) hoping for news on the next book. But there is no news :(.
I cannot wait!!! If you are looking for something else to read while you wait try Destiny Binds by Tammy Blackwell - it is different to Demons at Deadnight but really good also.

Good News!! I just checked the author's website. They are editing book number 2 and hope to release it in Fall or winter of this year. Personally I am hoping for Fall.

I absolutely loved this book ...cannot wait for book 2 to come out...

I'm so excited. I was worried that since they were self published they'd have no reason to rush to write a second book. I would love it if it came out in the fall.

Couple of good YA books I read recently (in between re-reading Demons at Deadnight) are Storm by Brigid Kemmer and Obsidian by Jennifer Aremtrout. Does anyone else have any recommendations for good YA paranormal?

I read those as well Jennifer's series the covenant is pretty good also. The first one was nowhere near as good as the second one, Pure, which was amazing. Angel fall was also amazing, not nearly as funny, but really well written and gripping. It ties with demons at deadnight for best books.

this book was amazing i was laughing my head off and my sisster kept telling me to shut up because i sounded like an freak (which i kind of am)!!!!!!

i dosent bore you with to much description or dialouge it was one of the best books i have read and i cant wait for the next one

The second book is due (hopefully) in March. It has just been sent to the editor. I can't wait.

I just finished this and i need the 2nd book asap. I seriously hope it's out in March. I just checked their page and it was due out summer... last year :(

For those of you who need something to read while waiting for the 2nd book check out Freaks of Greenfield High by Maree Anderson. It is a very entertaining story about a cyborg, Jay, who has been gradually developing human feelings and is on the run from the evil corporation that wants to use her as a weapon. Hiding out in a small town she attends the local high school where her human reactions increase alarmingly when she meets Tyler. And on the plus side - the second book has just been released so no waiting necessary.

I read that too. I hope that they do release it in March. It is one of the best reads I've had in awhile.

News!!!! They have the new cover and a synopis up on their website. No release date yet but they have said definitely by summer and hopefully earlier. It is at final edit stage.

Supposedly the second book is due out 27 May. At least this is what it says on Goodreads and the authors re-vamped website. Cautiously optimistic (I have had my expectations raised so many times I am afraid to get too excited). Fingers crossed.
