I hope it is an enjoyable read.

The characters are very flat and cartoon. My mind keeps going back to Riki Tiki Tavi, and seeing these characters as animals; I am not sure why this is the image that appears

I read this one a few years ago and now can barely remember the basic characters and premise. That's not a good sign . . .

I agree the characters and the story did not work for me. It just did not come alive.
