Most despicable character?

So many liars! And plenty of despicable behavior by nearly everyone involved. My nominees for most despicable characters are:

Mignon
Kaveh
Angelina

Who gets your vote? Or do you have another nomination?

Deborah

Mignon. Deb really pissed me off as well.

you are right about Deb, I find it hard to be sympathetic to her, mostly find her as annoying as you do.

Deborah got on my nerves too!

Detective Superintendent Isabel Yardley

Kaveh. I am so mad that he gets away with keeping the house, and living his lie of a life. I also thought, for sure, he was the killer. I still think so, in fact!!!

Deborah is at the top of my list. She was just plain irresponsible, motivated (albeit maybe subconsciously) purely by her own issues. And when it had tragic results, again not directly her 'fault' per se, she was never called to task by Simon or Tommy or anyone else for that matter. I know she'll have to live with the guilt now but still, I wanted something more of a penance from her.

Don't like Isabel at all and I'm glad they split up. Tommy deserves far better. Who is this Daidre in the next book? Sounds like a romance there.

Mignon was just an obnoxious self-centered b***h. Kaveh I didn't care about one way or another, though it's quite sad he's living such a big lie.

My ranking in order of worst down:

Deborah
Mignon
Mia

The woman who read the audio book was bad too.

This book was something else. I totally agree with charty review. It started out with such great promise but as usual just like some E Georges books d end is always disappointing. She always leaves u feeling unsatisfied when u read her book. So many sub plots which at d end of d day was unnecessary as there was no actual crime commited.
But her worst fault is that she usually allows wicked people go unpunished. See kaveh who we all know deliberately destroyed ian s family n took his property , see myon .
Debs n her continous naive behaviour which has twice resulted in people dying . But d worst of all is her continous yapping about her inability to hv a kid,:she shd get over it n adopt a kid. How would she like it if simon kept moang abt his damaged leg.
Isabelle was just horrible: nasty boss poor lover. Just look at d way she treats havers n others. See how she was commandg lynly. But lynly is not nice himself. Given d fact havers bern his partner n also saved his life , u d think he d be more communicative n less formal wit her. I doubt he s ever invited her for a drink to his house. Apart from when he needs her to investigate he wont confide in her but leave her to find out thgs same time as others. D worst is his not defendg her from isabelle when its usually his request s that lands her in trouble.
But most baffling to me is y E George has decided that havers wld hv a sexless & partnerless life. I know for a fact no matter how ugly or deformed one is, except u re on death bed, there s at least one person who d attracted to u. When she decided to give havers a sex life it was wit d killer.
Oh I forgot WTF was d tim plot all abt it was bizzare n d endg unrealistic. He gets raped almost killed n then d next day acts as bestman in a wedding- yeah right!!!
His mum not informed police just lets him go n d slate is wiped clean.

Deborah. It's ALWAYS Deborah. Every time she has anything significant to do in one of these novels, it's a shit-show.
