Reading Romances discussion

Hi, Everyone!

I'm Abigail and I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading romance! So much so that I'm also an aspiring author! *laugh* Right now I'm reading All I Want Is You by Sherrill Bodine. I got hooked on her reading Talk of the Town. Some of my favorite romance authors are Jane Austen (is that a pre-requisite?) and Rachel Gibson and Julia Quinn and Diana Gabaldon if you consider her books romance.

I"m so happy to be here! I'm new to GoodReads also, so any advice is welcome

I <3 romance!! Jilda, what do you usually like to read? Suspense, historical, YA?

I usually read suspense, historical, a little bit of everything as long as it grabs my attention.

For historical, try Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series. The first one is The Duke and I.

For Suspense, try Roxanne St. Claire's Bullet Catchers. I also love Lena Diaz (He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not), but feel weird mentioning it because in addition to being a great writer, she's also my friend. :)

Try Lisa Kleypas for historical. I all around love her :)

Can someone please recommend a few books for me? I usually don't read romance books. Thanks!
