Hi Sara. I would love to join this challenge with you. I have alot of audio books I've checked out from the library. I've not counted them (and I don't want to). I just got my library "fix" yesterday, so maybe I can hold out. I will start out with a goal of 15 books

You are completely not the only one with this problem! I am in a small town with no library, but we have a bus that comes to town every 2 weeks from the closest library. I am constantly putting books on hold for it to bring me then I forget what I already requested and order more. The problem being it only comes every 2 weeks I have to plan out my orders ahead of time. But then all of a sudden books I have been waiting on for months all sudenly come at once then I have way more than I can read in 2 weeks. I am forever having to turn books back in unread because there is a hold on it and I didn't get through it.

I've the same problem too! I got a lot checked out with some holds. I've put off reading some newer books and only went for the sequel books until I get through some of these books!

You're not the only one with a library book addiction. That's one of the disadvantages in working at a public library LOL I only have 8 things checked out right now, but my hold request list is FAR too long! I'm trying to read books I have out, rather than return them unread and having to check them out again later, but the books coming in for me aren't fitting in with my other challenges :\

I work my local public library too!

I love the job, and my family and friends all say it's perfect for me :) Thankfully, I work most of my hours in the children's library, so I don't add as many titles to my TBR list as I would if I worked at the adult circ desk LOL

Here is my latest update. I sure hope I get my 15 finished by the end of July. Lol.

Okay, I'm going to go for this. I have a small town too, with no library, so I pay for my library use (and get my full use! LOL!) SO, my library trips are not frequent either.

Ok I am joining this one as of today. I live in a small town with no library, the county library has a bookmobile that comes through about every two weeks and I re-checked out half my books today and got 7 more. I am only reading 2 books a week there is no reason I need more than 4 checked out at a time. In the rare event I finish those four I've got shelves overflowing with books I've picked up used that need to be read. So my goal is in the next month (due to the holidays I get a month with these books) read all the books I have and get them down to only 4 checked out and then once I read one of the 4 I can request a new book.
