We thought it would be a great idea for members to get to know us moderators. So, if there was anything you were wondering, or wanting to ask, or dying to know, please feel free to ask as anything. Three of us live in Australia, Jody, Adriana and Myself, while three of us live in America, Marni, Brooke and Erin. You can ask us things you would love to know about the country we live in, true or false questions, anything but within reason, of course LOL. We are a fairly laid back bunch who have really bonded over the love of books and we have become great friends with each other and most of our members.

Well Julie I've been a member since Nov 2010 and I wasn't on as much to begin with, since I didn't own a computer lol but once I read Starcrossed (Starcrossed, #1) by Josephine Angelini , Adriana, Jody, Marni and I found a common ground with this book we loved and decided that since we were all loved reading YA books we thought we'd start a group together, so like minded people like us will have a place to come and share and have fun with. I didn't become moderator until I finally got a computer lol but I was a very active member to begin with lol

I joined this year, January, I think, can't remember 100%, wish I knew about it before! I had a friend on another site recommend it and I was hooked from day one. These lovely ladies asked me to help with moderating in here, and since it is my favorite group, I thought it was a good fit (and I'm having a ball doing it and getting to know everyone!).

I haven't hung out with anyone IRL. Kind of hard with three of us across the pond from one another. Marni and I live fairly close and will be meeting IRL in August and I'm really excited for that. Erin and I don't live too far apart, but not close enough to get together :( Perhaps some day we can meet in the middle!

Marni (wonderwmn999) Julie wrote: "How long have you been members of GR? How did you get started here and what made you get involved in moderating vs just being one of us reader type blokes, lol :)"

I've been a member since July 2011. I don't read the same books as my friends and coworkers and desperately wanted to talk with other adult readers of YA novels. I would check out local book clubs and the books they were reading were just not my type of books. I don't remember how I found this site, but once I did and found this group I have loved it!

I became a mod when I was asked by Adriana if I would be interested. I was unsure at first, it seemed quite an undertaking, but have found it the opposite. The members are very active with us doing what we can to keep it fresh and inviting. We bounce ideas off each other, and are not only a team but have become good friends. I like moding because I like the whole experience with the group.

David...I wasn't here from the beginning, but it wasn't this big when I started and it feels like I blinked and bam! I'm astounded by our number of members but it doesn't feel so big because everyone gets along so well.

Thank you for the great compliment, but we couldn't do it without such awesome members!

David I can tell you I've been here from the beginning and we NEVER imagined it to get this big..all we wanted was for a place where we can come together and talk about the books we love and most of us never had that opportunity to discuss outside with friends, since they never read this genre, so we are really proud mumma's of our amazing group or family :)

Julie wrote: "What's the best and hardest thing about being a mod? :)"

The best thing about being a mod is the amazing ability to navigate the way you want to the group to go I think, being creative and trying to challenge the group to achieving their reading goals etc.

The worst thing would be coming up with new ideas LOL my fellow moderators and I come together and brainstorm, before you see any of what's going on and sometimes it takes us forever and sometimes it's easy but all in all it's a blast :)

Ok, this one might be tricky:
1) Adam from Shatter Me - Because he's so darn caring and sexy!
2) Christian from Unearthly - Because he's knows what is worth while to wait around for
3) Will from Infernal Devices - Because I just cannot resist a tortured soul. And he's so darn funny!
4) Ayden from Lacrimosa - Another tortured soul, and dedicated.
5) Four from Divergent - HOLY SEXINESS!
