i did the house quiz and that's the result.
You belong in Gentian House. Gentle, spiritual, and a little bit mystical, sex is a meeting of the souls for you. You're likely to believe in soul mates, or find that love and love-making is the best when there's a connection that you may not be able to explain.
that really fraked me out!

I think you all did a great job explaining it! I pretty much give this book to anyone who reads fantasy and I'll probably make a ton of people watch this video once they've read it!
Thank you for making the Vaginal Fantasy book club, it's great to have a place to discuss this genre of books.

On Bonnie's topic on Christian/Religious Romance, I have read quite a few. There is a huge overtone of Christianity and really no naughty parts to speak of. There is no bodice ripping and they may dicuss the fact they are getting into bed (after marriage of course) but there are no details. If you want straight romance with no naughty, there you go.
In short, it's nice but not up to Bonnie naughty meter status. Mine either, to be honest..... Love ya!!

There was so much I didn't cover but wow! What a great hangout and what an excellent MIRC channel chat. What a great end to what was otherwise the crappiest Monday I've had in a long time. Thank you are for making this group such fun. The Ladies are great but really you fellow group members had me rolling at times and really thinking at others. I'm honored to be around such great minds ;)

I loved the trilogy, and it was compared to the hobbit, and Dune --both epic fantasies-- but I think the main difference is that the author imparted a lot of information in a not so painful way and as "Phedre" remembered it, as a memoire, I love her writing style and I normally hate first person writing because of all the "I's". Furthermore, if I have to ready another long list of dwarf names all on one page right in the middle of the story or as in the book of genenis, he begots them, etc. and so forth, it will be too soon. Anyway, sorry for rambling, I am tired. gnite, until next time.

I saw Hyacinth as Katy Perry's Ex-huspand, long curly hair, not quite the filthy mouth but you know what I mean, LOL
I am not sure what Bonnie said about hyacinth, but so don't know if what I found relates or not. I like mythology, and knew there was a story about it but couldn't remember it, anyway:
I found this on hyacinth and the name is from greek mythos and belonged to a boy.

I missed Veronica's input in the show, I kept wondering what she thought of the book and how she would have responded to some of the things that were said.
Kiala definitely seemed to be more animated, she is usually pretty quiet. It was really nice to hear more of her perspective and learn a little more about her personality.
I desperately wish it didn't start so late on a work night!

My absolute fave books <3

So naturally I come to find out you've already got a show about it.
So now i'm DLing the video so I can watch once i'm done with the book. So far the first 1/3rd was a bit of a struggle (about a million names to keep track of) but now it's getting really good and starting to come together into a really great book. I'll finish it soon so I can read the rest of the comments (i hate spoilers)
keep it up

OMG I am sorry but I am listening to you guys on you tube and I am wanting to cry!!! I know everyone has their own views of books and worlds, but first off most of this based in the french language and french type culture... OMG Bonnie... Hiacynthe is a French name not English.... OMG and Jocelin....
But that is the whole point of safety word, is a word you won't normally say... and when it's said everything immediately stops.... Ya I wanted to cry because... there is a very French style court romance epic world about this book.
Being a french person I loved it... it's very hard to explain.
Yes I am with them Melisandre was beautiful, dangerous, exquisite. So yes I never knew you guys had this book club and I will be paying attention now to the books you choose and participating.

So glad I'm not the only one to finish late!! (though I'm not done yet). I fear I may never get to the July books! Yikes!

What's so funny is that I started the book just out of the blue and then remembered seeing a vaginal fantasy hangout vid on youtube (very entertaining). So I came here to recommend it as a choice for the club and whadyaknow you guys already were reading it.

I had bought it to read eventually back in May, and then was caught up reading Tigana (another long one!) for the Sword & Laser group when this started, which only delayed me more. I'm determined to finish it, though! Especially since it's a book I'd really wanted to read anyway :)

Enjoy !
We missed Veronica a bunch!! :)
