This book has been on my shelf for a while. I came across it again looking for a book to read for NY Times Bestseller month. I have heard good things about it, so I'm looking forward to it.

Great choices. I actually bought the Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts when I went to a book sale at the library. I got a whole bag of books for $2.00!!! One of my sons lives in Colorado so I was interested in reading Chasing Fire because of all the fires out there. Let me know if it is any good.

Sara | 5 comments I am looking for some lighter and easier reads for July. Wicked Business (Lizzy & Diesel, #2) by Janet Evanovich and Heat Rises (Nikki Heat, #3) by Richard Castle are two books from series I have already started.I cannot wait!

message 11: by Carissa (new)

Carissa can anyone Recommend two New York Times bestselling books that are either mysteries or some what clean romance.

message 12: by Angela (new)

Angela I picked mine, really without even realizing it. LOL. I am reading James Patterson's 1st To Die and 2nd Chance. I wanted to read these for some time and I decided I will take them on vacation with me to read and then I discovered that they are both past NYT best sellers. YAY! ;)

message 14: by Julie (new)

Julie | 83 comments I just finished The Help. This is a must read, if you haven't already read it. I was glad that I was still able to enjoy it, even after having seen the movie first. Both the book and movie were great!

July is the genre of New York Times Bestsellers. You read two books from that category and post what you are reading here. So glad that you have joined! I have really enjoyed being this group.

I haven't read too many mysteries lately, but Nights in Rodanthe was really good. It is a romance, and I would say it is clean. It was on the NYTB list in the past.

WELCOME!
We were reading Chick Lit in June. This month we are reading from The New York Time Bestsellers, however, if the Chick Lit book that you chose was on the list that counts! The book doesn't have to be on the list now. It can be from any year. I hope that this helps. Each month we change genres to earn the cupcake!

Hi Carissa,
I am reading"Witness" by Nora Roberts and really liking it. It is both a suspense and romance book. I'll think more about your question and hopefully have more suggestions!

I have enjoyed the Lizzy and Diesel series by Janet Evanovich so far. Wicked Business is the second book in the series. The characters are fun, quirky and enjoyable in their own ways. If you enjoy a little humor, a little mystery and a little paranormal situations then you will like the series too. ;)

message 29: by Julie (new)

I will have to read a review about it. I remember seeing it on book sites. It is my turn to choose the next book for my book group. Thanks for letting me know that you liked it

Amy | 142 comments My next choice for New York Times Bestsellers is Matched.

message 32: by Brenda, Lone Wolf (new)

Brenda Gail | 285 comments Mod
I have never heard of that one. What is it about?

message 33: by Amy (new)

Amy | 142 comments It's a little like The Hunger Games I think. It's about a "Society" where everything is decided for you...who you marry, where you work, and even when you die. There is a love triangle similar to that in The Hunger Games I believe. It's a trilogy.

message 36: by W. Donna (new)

W. Donna | 18 comments I think I am having a readers block, is there such a thing? Just can't make myself sit down and read. Does this happen to anyone besides me? Gotta get over it

message 37: by Amy (new)

Amy | 142 comments It seems like I do that at least twice a year.
