Books Stephen King Recommends discussion

We are going to be reading a book by Bentley Little for the Aug-Sep 2012 group read. Please nominate the one you'd like to read. Use the book link when you add your book, if possible. One nomination per person.

My nomination is The Store.

I have read all of his books, this one is the first one I read of his and its what got me hooked. This one is my recommendation.

The Town

Sounds like a good one, Nikki!

I had to think a little more about it before I posted. I own every single one of his books, pre-order his new ones when they come out and finish them usually within the day I get them in the mail. I'm addicted to his books.

The only one by him I have is The Return. I'll nominate it, as I'd like to read it one of these days, but it definitely doesn't have as many good reviews as The Store or The Town...

The Resort is also a good one. I think it's the first book I read by Little. Made me want to read more.

I had never heard of Bentley Little. I hope we pick one I can read on Overdrive epub. The: House, Resort, Return, Store, Town, Vanishing or Revelation. Mixed reviews on that last one, his first.

I just have to say that Dispatch was my least favorite of all his books. Unlike some books over the years, I can vividly remember the plot lines to all of his books, that's just how addictive he is for me.

Definitely sounds like you are a big fan, Nikki. Can't wait to read my first book by him. Been looking forward to some good horror!

I am looking forward to reading a book by Bentley Little, I heard about him thru this group, so I'm going to leave it to you experts to choose. I'm excited and can't wait to see what gets chosen as our group read.
