The Hunger Pains
question
Is this book worth reading?

I've noticed this book in the store and would like to know what people who read it think: if you love the Hunger Games immensely and can't stand people making fun of it, is this book worth reading? I am willing to try it if it isn't immensely stupid, or immoral, but I don't want the original ruined for me. So, to read or not to read, that is the question.

No, don't waste your time. I think I laughed 4 times, during the beginning. The rest is just plain stupid, I want the time I wasted reading this book back!!!
I'm a full-out Hunger Games fan and I read the book and found it absolutely hilarious. It's a fast and funny read, when reading, just take things lightly and you'll enjoy. Idk, I liked it:)
i a HUGE HG fan and i find it very funny, however, the parody, the hunger but mainly death games is funnier
I really liked the Hunger Games, and I found this book hilarious. I was laughing so hard reading it.
I don't really think of it as mean. When I'm laughing at something in the book, it's not because it's making fun of the Hunger Games; it's because this book is hilarious.
My best friend is the total Hunger Games fan girl, and she loves it.
I really liked it. The jokes inside it were hilarious and cheesy (my favorite kind), and it was easy to look past the touch of dislike in the jokes if you enjoy their humor enough.
Anyways, I really liked it, and it never hurts to try a book (unless you get a papercut), right? And this book's cheap; I got it for $3.99 on iBooks. I think you should try it :)

Its quite funny, but I wouldn't run out to shop just to get it. You should go get it from the library.
I also am a huge HG fans, but love parodies. I loved this book at the beginning and was actually laughing out loud. But it took a quick dive toward the middle where we meet Rue. Worth a read b/c it is super short and worth a few laughs, but overall it let me down.

I agree heavily with this. I read the first 3 pages in Barnes and Noble and was cracking up out loud. Once I got to the third chapter the jokes were j

I enjoyed reading it, but my feidn got about half-way through and said "I can't read this. She's too stupid." and walked away. O>O. But don't get me wrong, love the real Hunger Games! :)
It was okay. I'm a huge HG fan and I thought it would hysterical, but I guess I raised my expectations too much. A lot of things were a little weird and didn't really make fun of the books at all. It was still okay, I think I would've been perfectly fine without reading it.
its not that its not funny or stupid-i mean what do you expect, it's a parody. even the though it didnt do a great job of making us laugh, it was (sort of) entertaining. its a fun read- a book that takes about an hour to read nothing her new here just another HG parody #TEAM PEETA
i dont think its worth reading because it is making fun of The Hunger Games and it is really mean!!!
