For Iceland I would like to nominate Under the Glacier by Halldór Laxness

I would like to nominate Gunnar's Daughter.

My nomination for Iceland is the following Gunnar's Daughter by Sigrid Undset. Lolz finally figured out which thread was for the nomination and such.

I can't believe I managed to not notice this thread for more than 3 weeks!

For Iceland, I will nominate Independent People by Halldór Laxness.

This book won the author a Nobel prize and is an entry on the 1001 Books list.
