I recently read this, its pretty good (5 star) all the way, it basically takes the zombie genre with a realistic angle. eg. how they attack, move, walk etc

It also deals with trauma, loss and is very dark, with a hint of supernatural thrown in for good measure.

Yep, the book is good, well, it's a novella. 80 pages. Worth a look for the cover alone - which a mate did, so I'm promoting her too... ;)

Nice use of glyphs, always appreciate it when an author adds a little something... I'll have to give it a proper read sometime.

Mine is more of a dark/twisted love story or an anti love story. That's its centre and the infected hoards are slightly in the background/so is the theme of the Olympics going tits up!

Funnily enough both me and the author, Scott Beadle, were born in Essex. Must be something about this place inspiring us to want to write about shooting swathes of people. Risk Of Infection sees 'Frankie' race through Romford/Essex toward London.
