I know about Loganberry's but I think you have to pay to use it? I'll save that for a last resort.
Here's another puzzler from the other group (and a free bump for Andrea's book). (I wish we could figure them out as they both sound wonderful.)
" Children's lit: boy living in grey town finds crayon and starts to draw cows or pigs (edit)
My brother and I read this like 4-5 times/ day as kids and I would love to find a copy of it:
A young boy lives in a town with very boring, grey houses. One day he finds a crayon and starts to draw images (either cows or pigs) on the walls. An old lady is inspired by this and starts to draw on the houses, too (either pink pigs or cows).
More and more people start to draw things on the houses, and in the end of the book the entire town is covered by colorful images of cows, rainbows etc.
(You can tell I'm born in the mid 70's, right ? ) ;-)
It is NOT Harold and the Purple Crayon, I checked that already. :-) "

I wonder if Andrea ever identified her book.
A new one for fans of books like the puzzler I posted in msg 4 is Extra Yarn.

In a medieval country the court composer writes a piece of music (for the king's birthday?). Somehow the sheets of music blow away or get lost and the composer is very upset because he'll get into trouble if he doesn't have any music for the king. But a bird finds all the sheets and brings them back.
I read this in the 80s as a child. The illustrations really stuck with me - very rich and lavish.
Can anyone help? This is driving me crazy!
Thanks in advance!
