A book you wanted to read may not have won the poll, but you still want to read it and discuss it with someone. This is the place where you can come to find a buddy who may also want to read the same book. For now, let's stick with books that have been in a poll.

Use this thread to see if anyone else wants to read the book with you. When you find a buddy, start a new topic in this folder using the book title and start date as your topic heading. That way everyone else can see when the discussion starts and plan if they want to join in.

Like the monthly reads, others interested in reading and discussing the book are welcome to join in at any time. There are books you might want to read, but can't get to when the buddy read starts.

Once you start the discussion, please preface your comments about the book with how far along you are (page number, half way), so spoilers can be avoided by someone who hasn't read that far in the book.

Abby and I are going to read Her Royal Spyness (Her Royal Spyness Mysteries, #1) by Rhys Bowen by Rhys Bowen if anyone wants to join in.

Iamabibliophile | 201 comments I'm going to read Bobbie Faye's Very (very, very, very) Bad Day (Bobbie Faye, #1) by Toni McGee Causey because I don't think it is going to be picked for December's pick. I read the reviews and I think it looks great.

Let me know if you want to buddy read and discuss. :)

AngryGreyCat (angrygreycatreads) | 665 comments That does look funny - almost along the lines of the Lisa Lutz Spellman books or Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie which I thought was great. If I can find it and fit it in I will read it, too.

AngryGreyCat (angrygreycatreads) | 665 comments I checked and my library does have this so I think I will order it.

Tell me how it is! I probably will not be able to get to that book until about mid-December.

Iamabibliophile | 201 comments Just starting Bobbie Faye's Very Bad Day...I'm a little behind! Bobbie Faye's Very (very, very, very) Bad Day (Bobbie Faye, #1) by Toni McGee Causey

Iamabibliophile | 201 comments I'm laughing my way through this one...reminds me a little of the Stephanie Plum series (of which I've only ready 1 1/2 so far) Much smarmier than the average cozy but I like it.

Anyone else reading this one?

Divisha (divishareads) Whoops! I was so excited about these books that I didn't check if they were cozy mysteries. Great Balls of Fury (Federal Bureau of Magic, #1) by Annabel Chase as Cheryl said, is a cozy mystery ;)

MadameZelda | 651 comments I loved the Federal Bureau of Magic series. I've finished the entire series, the last being Final Fury. Great light read.

I've read them and count them as cozy mystery. I just finished the first book in the spinoff series Vampire Knitting Club: Cornwall and also read the Vampire Book Club series.
