can someone please suggest something similar to the NFH by R.L.Mathewson i could please read as i loved these lol novals and need something new to read

Hmmmm....like humorous? Try The Unidentified Redhead. This had me cracking up. Need more great reads? Feel free to look through my "crack book" & "favorites" shelf. There are some definite must reads in there. Then again, they were must reads for me, IMHO. Happy reading :)

I just finished RL Mathew's NFH series also and I can tell you I agree with how great it is. I think you'd like Knight by Kristen Ashley. Also, The Vincent Boys is supposed to be really great and I am reading it next. Check out my Read shelf ...since I have read Fifty Shades back in May every single book after that has been very very good. The Moreno Brothers by Elizabeth Reyes has a lot of very funny parts in them. They guys are as possessive as the Bradford men too. I can't wait for Checkmate NFH 3 to come out. I am reading her Hollywood hearts series right now. I just finished her first EMS Series book Sudden Response this morning. It was more serious but very good. Still had a lot of funny parts in it though.

Her Pyte and Sentinel series is really good to if you don't mind a little bit of paranormal. I laughed quite a bit during these books.

If you liked Playing for Keeps, I think you'd really enjoy It's a really sweet and funny romance novel.

Thanks Tessa for the recommendation. Just finished it. 4 stars for me. Would have given it 5 but I got tired of Shel and Mel's banter. Felt it was overdone. Otherwise, good read. :)

I did laugh a lot when Mel and Shel, in a bar, were approached by two very young "toddlers" and Mel asks:

"Tell me this. Who was the most popular boy band when you were in high school?"

Response: "Probably the Jonas Brothers."

Mel: "Get the f--- out of here," shooing them with her wrist.

Since I graduated in '90, I found it amusing. Still do. :)

I just started reading the first book in the series and I can't stop laughing. Love it so far.

you could try Bet MeJennifer Crusie, Match Me If You Canby SEP and even Practice Makes Perfectby Julia James all are great reads.I must agree that Playing for Keeps is an amazing book if i had missed reading this i would have missed something really good. Thanks to goodreads. :)

Jinxed by Inez Kelley is also a contemporary romance with lots of humor. I love her books.

Totally agree with Inez Kelley's, Jinx, it's one of my favorite contemporary books and it's laugh out loud funny!!

Erin Nicholas' The Bradford's series is a lot like this one. Great "family" dynamics, funny, and well written: Just Right, Just Like That, Just My Type, and Just For Fun

I thought that Alice Clayton's and are both really great and really funny. They bring all of the emotions of a great romance along with some true laugh out loud moments and banter.

Yeah! I never thought id like the whole pythe thing, but im onto book two now-just LOVE rl Mathewson ;)

Samantha, check Amazon for the Kindle edition which is selling for $0.99. It's "Against the Wall" by Julie Prestsater, not Rhyannon Byrd.

I have read the Vincent boys and the Vincent brothers both were really good wishing for something more with them in it. Try the Ross siblings series by Cherrie Lynn also the sea breeze series by Abbi Glines is a great read if you like the Vincent boys

That book was hilarious! If anyone were home during some of the parts I read, they'd probably think I was crazy laughing out loud to myself lol!

Try the Gamble Brothers series. First is "Tempting the Best Man" and the second is "Tempting the Player" Those Gamble brothers are hot and sexy

I cannot wait to read The Gamble! I have had it on my "to-read" list for a few weeks. Over the last 2 days I have been consumed with Heaven & Hell by Kristen Ashley. I did not realize that she is the same author who wrote The Gamble series. Imagine my delight upon discovering this right after I finished rating Heaven & Hell a perfect 5 stars!! What a fabulous book and epic love story. Fell in love and can't wait to read my next Kristen Ashley.

Try the "Rock chick" series by Kristen Ashley for great romance and laugh out loud scenes! But be warned, you WILL become addicted to Kristen Ashley books!

I am happy to tell you that Hap & Lucy are getting their own book! It will be the follow up to Heaven and Hell. I can't wait. I love those two and they would be great together. I hope we get some more Sam and Kia in the book as well.

OMG! I love Tara Sivec's books. The second book is out - Futures and Frostings - and is just as hilarious as the first one. I cannot wait for the 3rd book in the series to come out soon!

Just finished the Dream Man series...loved loved loved it. My next series to read by her is the Rock Chick series.

Yes? Have you read all of them? They all have a humor aspect but NFH is filled with more.

The NFH series was the first series that I read, and they are what got me hooked on reading. I absolutely love the Bradfords and would love to read more about them. If you are looking for romantic comedies try the With Me series from by Kristen Proby. There are some serious parts in the books, but for the most part, I find myself laughing so hard at these books that I have to be careful when reading in public.

Ever since I read her books I've been looking for similar author as well. What I love most about her books is the humor and romance. I like that the humor part are actually Laugh out Loud funny.

So far I have read and in my opinion: Kristen Ashley series, again in my opinion are not LOL books, they are more serious, they may have a ha ha moment here and there but it's more serious (I still recommended her but if your looking for a more R.L Mathewson keep looking). I was disappointed with Kristen Proby. I read Julie James her books are good. SEP the only book I have read of her that actually made me LOL is Nobody's Baby But Mine, I recommend this book, but the rest of her books lean more towards serious issues (still she is a great author). Bet Me was Ok, I wouldn't read it again though. Tara Sivec Seductions and snacks is funny but I found sometimes the characters were immature.

I guess it depends what your looking for. Like humor and romance I recommend Nobody's Baby But Mine by SEP, Tara Sivec and Shelly Laurenston Magnus Pack

If your looking for a good series to read I recommend SEP Chicago Stars, Kristen Ashley Rock Chick series and Shelly Laurenston Magnus Pack

I have to agree with you both, it's so hard to find an actual LOL like Mathewson's but I did like Sevic's first book.

What I also did was look at books that R.L. likes, on her TBR, and even favorite author books. Some are PNR but the laugh out part is evident by several reviews of some of the books. So maybe its a good idea to see what books inspire her own.

I agree with wallbanger, it was funny. I did get a bit more serious towards the end but still enjoyed it.
I found this yesterday too. Its not a book but I would read a book by this guy. Its a comment on a blog and I read it and then read it to my husband and its one of those tears rolling down your face in laughter reads.
