Tanya (tkgough) | 13 comments Just came across this fantastic blog piece from a writer who asked her 6-year old daughter to guess what various classics were about, based on the cover image. Great stuff...

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) | 1078 comments I am so attached to covers, especially of my childhood books, especially these: A Wrinkle in Time: 50th Anniversary Commemorative Edition and Meet the Austins. I'm glad when new covers are almost identical to the originals such as: The Phantom Tollbooth and From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs Basil E. Frankweiler.

Tanya (tkgough) | 13 comments Thanks for the flavourwire link, Abigail. That was fun. I have to say I like the new Bunnicula cover better than the old one. Not sure why they felt Matilda needed to be pink, though.

I love that Phantom Tollbooth cover too, Lisa. I think I'm overdue to re-read that one.

https://www.babble.com/mom/judging-a-... is the best link I found, but no images. I'll just say, I'd love to read some of the books this child thinks have been written. Maybe she's growing up to be a creative writer!
