The Riyria Revelations discussion

Right now my "author stat page" tells me my books have been placed on 19,910 shelves. Almost 20,000!! I don't know why we all seem to like nice round numbers (I still remember watching my first car roll to 00,000 when I reached 100,000 miles). I'm amazed that so many people know the books exist.

So I just wanted to take a moment to mention the approaching milestone and to thank everyone for all their support in helping me reach it.

Yeah it's really interesting to watch stats as it provides some indication to how things are going. I started tracking the goodreads stats in August 2011 and here is the progression:

* Books added to shelves 4,994 >> 20,689
* Ratings 1,972 >> 9,646
* Reviews 468 >> 1,412
* People with books 2,653 >> 10,075
* Fans 177 >> 601

Wow! That's a huge increase of familiarity with your books. Your series is getting more out there now.

My friend, who owns a local book store, said they have been flying off the shelves since I suggested she order some! She just ordered more!

@Amelia - Yeah, it helps to validate that the decision to sign with Orbit was a good one.
