Alana (alemke) | 2 comments This is completely not in accordance with the theme, but I started it before I joined the group so I wanted to finish it! Normally when I start a book, I can't stop reading it until it's finished. But, with this book, I seem to be taking a while to get into it. I'm almost 300 pages into its 700 pages, and it feels like it's just now starting to pick up. This is actually only my fourth Stephen King novel (Carrie, The Shining and Pet Sematary being the only other ones I've read) but I know that he can be very wordy at times. Did anyone else who has read this book find it hard to get into in the beginning? I'm hoping it gets better because I've heard really good things about this one.

Zimbellina | 4 comments I'm a big fan of Stephen King and have read the majority of his work. I read Insomnia recently and it took me forever. I can't really pinpoint what it was that kept me putting the book down and reading other things but I eventually had to force myself to finish it. Though it is a good story funnily enough! So this comment probably wasn't very helpful lol. But it is worth finishing.

Liza | 28 comments I never finished it. I had about 100 pages left to read and I just quit. I couldn't go on. And it took me months to read that far, especially since I only read that book on the weekends while at the laundromat. lol

Daniela This is one of my favorites by Stephen King, but I agree that it is a bit ramble and weird. It goes a little further (farther?) into fantasy than he normally does. Another of my favorites is Desperation, even if it is a bit preachy.

Daniela Sorry, rambly not ramble.

Kim (catmommie) I had trouble with this one, too. I think I had three or so false starts and it took me a while to get through, too. It does turn out to be a good book, though a little rambly. I found myself thinking, "where's he [character] going with this?"

Morgan Olivia (mogil) I picked this book up a while ago at a book sale. If anyone has finished it, it is worth it?

Kim (catmommie) I gave it four stars, despite everything.
