★ Mist ☆ Cassidy ★ I thought this was an amazing conclusion to a wonderful series. There was a few parts in the book I didn't like (not just because somthing happened to a character, but because there was something that I found was both irrelevant to the plot and just plain random).

What did you guys think?

What was your favourite part of it?

My only complaint was that for the Canadian version, the cover for Thirteen didn't follow the pattern for the last books (black with something red highlighted on the cover like with: Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1) by Kelley Armstrong , Industrial Magic (Women of the Otherworld, #4) by Kelley Armstrong , and Personal Demon (Women of the Otherworld, #8) by Kelley Armstrong

Amy Gideon I loved it! I thought it did a good job tying up the loose ends from the other books and I loved getting to see all the characters again.

There was one loose end, the part with the kidnapped clairvoyant child (can't remember his name) that I didn't feel was adequately resolved - kind of an afterthought, but it didn't distract from the overall awesomeness of the book.

My favorite part had to be Eve on the physical plane. She was just so freakin' awesome. I liked seeing her and Savannah interact with each other, both recognizing that they aren't replica copies of each other.

I also liked how many twists and turns it had. Lots of surprises. I agree that it was a wonderful end to the series, not perfect, but it held true to the series as a whole.

I'm glad that Kelley Armstrong will revisit the series again with short stories and novellas. Makes the series ending easier to deal with. Of course I rather it end than for her to drag the series out until the books get progressively worse which happens with some long running series. She went out on a high note.

fabby it was good and sad knowing its the last one i loved how she put everybody together and the short story was good too

Rhys it was a perfect end to a fantastic series!

Diana Brown Hmmmm...I wrote a response, but it didnt seem to add it...round 2....

Although I love the cover, I agree that it doesnt fit the rest of the Cdn covers; Originally I didnt like the "twilightesque" covers, but since those were the ones I was buying, they kinda grew on me. I loved the book! I do agree that the kidnapped child was just dropped in, and I thought the SPOILER ALERT! Cassandra and Aaron part was unnecessary....I LOVED Savannah and Eve together; and Savannah and Adam; Jaime taking out the enraged werewolf (courtesy of Jeremy's lessons!!); meeting the 3 demon fathers; Malcolm (what a shock!!!); Elena taking on Malcolm; Karl and Hope/baby; Elena ascending to Alphahood by verbally taking on Karl (was so afraid that Karl was going to die), that no one I loved died (yeah!!!). Considering this was the end of the official series, I saw lots of new stories ahead of us!!! From Russia with love was fantastic, but too short!!! It was a perfect ending. Elena becoming Alpha, especially the challenge was brilliant. The football scene with Jeremy playing, being carefree and happy was the perfect "ending".

Jessica Where is the Pack and Savannah's extremely long list of violent events that managed to happen within 48 hours with almost no sleep and the newly forming romance right in the middle of all this chaos had me thinking this was Young Adult and not the real end to Armstrongs adult series. Nope it ended with the best characters doing little things on the sidelines while a sarcastic 21 yr old does mercenary type work. Gee Young Adult much

Charlie I was impatient at the start in wanting to figure out where the story line was finally heading after the last book, but I was very satisfied how she ended the story. I'm also glad about how many of her characters we got to see in 13. I'm not too certain about how I feel about a certain someone appearing in From Russia with Love however.

Rana I really liked it. Eve and Savannah getting some time together thrilled me. Savannah and Adam, while I wanted them together I felt like it was a bit fast, but it's fine. I really like how Savannah's character got to develop. I found it very very interesting that Lucifer wasn't a "demon" per se and that he really cared about Hope and her child.

I'm curious as to how she's going to tie in her young adult series to this one. I think I read once that she wasn't sure she could, because her adult characters would want to step in and solve the problems of the younger characters. Which wouldn't leave much of a story.

Either way, I look forward to reading more from her and the "otherworld" that she built for so many of her characters.

Nadya Thought it was great, only thing I dont like is the series ending.

I guess I will need to re read the series again :)

Diana Brown I will be re-reading the series at some point; but I am looking forward to reading Brazen (novella from Subterrean Press) at the end of the year to find out what happens to Malcolm
