What do you really think of Rapture, the final book in Lauren Kate's Fallen series?

A big problem some people had with this series was that they felt there were too many questions and not enough answers. This feeling was relieved a little bit when Passion #3 came out and more so when Fallen in Love #3.5 came out, but they didn't answer the big question we all had at the end of Passion: how will they stop Lucifer?

I can't add too much input right now because, as you may have gathered, this year I'm a terrible procrastinator. I am a big fan of this series so try my best at least get caught up with Fallen.

What did you take away from this series, and did you enjoy the ending?

i loved the ending. i cried so much and about lucifer i think he accepted luce didnt love him anymore and got on with his life. i realy hope they make another one

It was disappointing that Cam's story was left so open-ended. I love Cam, I did not want Luce and Cam to end up together but he's a major character and he deserved more than that.. Luce and Daniel does too. I did not like the mortal ending. Their history, all that they've been through, their love is what we fell in love with. Yet to make them forget about all of that, their past, just left me so empty. It was a huge let down after discovering who Luce really was. I was hoping for a more angelic ending, perhaps. Oh well, I liked it anyway!

I definitely feel the same about Cam. I thought for a moment towards the end the Luce and Cam story will be told in more depth but it just left me with questions around their relationship, even if it was just a great friendship. I like the mortal ending. She comes to find her past & they make the right decision to stop history from repeating itself.

I cried at the ending, but I wish there was a bit more closure. Luce and Daniel's love was just...I can't even, it was so beautiful. And poor Cam's ending wasn't as detailed as i thought it would be. I loved this series so much and I wish it didn't end. I was sitting in my bed in shock after finishing Rapture because all I could think was "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER."
