josie:) | 236 comments So our lovely friend Cassandra suggested we should do and read and review for our group. Here is how it plays, an author signs up to give a free ebook to any reader who wants to review it on their blog, goodreads, or amazon profile. If the reader is interested the author will lend the reader their free ebook to review! When dozens of readers sign up to review the authors book, the author will be very well known by then and they will have a good base to start on from the reviews they have gotten. prety simple right!

So now the small addition to the program. Since many non- published authors have joined the group, I decided that why not give them a chance and let them enter the Read and Review program as authors for other readers to reviw also!

I hope this goes well, so tell all the reviwers and authors you may know and tell them to hop along!

For authors to sign up you have to be an author of any kind of YA fiction. please comment below that states..

Your Name:
Your Books to review + description:
availible for reveiwers: yes/no
Contact: (Goodreads profile, email, etc.)

When several authors have signed up, we will create a seperate topic for the authors review sign ups for the readers to review and recieve the fre ebook!

We are not sure how many people will participate, but once we do we shall send a message to everyone about the first read and review!

Cassandra Giovanni I said I'd be a test puppet, so I'll offer up 6 ebooks in nook or kindle format. (If there is a lot of interest I will think about adding some more).
Cassandra Giovanni
In Between Seasons
5 copies in either nook or kindle format for reviews on goodreads, amazon and Barnes and Noble. If you have a blog I would be glad to do an interview to feature with your review if you would like that.
The books will be first come first serve, message me through goodreads with your email and chosen format. If you need a format besides nook or kindle I may be able to work with you.
Here goes:
At eighteen there is one thing Kate Ericson is certain of—the world is at war and has been since she was two years old. That was when her father pulled her family and a group of close friends to a God forsaken place in the middle of nowhere. For Kate there is no escape from the sea of lies she is drowning in until her world collides with Hunter Marks—the son of her father's biggest opponent. An opponent that Kate didn't even know existed. What Hunter kidnaps Kate for, and what her family will try to kill her to keep secret, is a knowledge that she doesn't have. Now Kate’s innocence seems to becoming undone at the seams of reality. Hunter then finds himself fighting the hopelessness that is creeping into the edges of her heart as she learns more about the corruption that has devoured their lives. As Hunter and Kate forge a strong and unique relationship it becomes clear that their love is something that the bureaucracy never expected, and that Hunter's father will do whatever he can to destroy it. Hunter believes he must sacrifice love in order to teach Kate that the world's deadliest weapon is her. Hunter and Kate will have to find the strength to rise above a deception that is so great, even the ones who created it don't realize its depth.

Your Books to review + description:
The Darkwater Adventurers Guild, Vol 1: Apprentice The Darkwater Adventurer's Guild, Vol 1: Apprentice, is a YA fantasy set in a tolkien like environment. It follows the main character of Ralik Teral and his desire to attend The Darkwater Adventurer's Guild (based loosely on the old guild systems of medieval Europe), to learn the skills it takes to be an adventurer and protect the realm, or at least that is what Ralik 'thinks' his future holds.

Ralik's bid to attend the guild is fraught with chaos however, as long smoldering issues with his Grandfather erupt as Ralik tries desperately to gather the funds to attend the guild. The guild is just the beginning, though, as he becomes increasingly aware of old family secrets.

Apprentice is targeted toward younger readers (8-14), but should be enjoyable for anyone who can take it for what it is, a good story and a character you can relate too. It is my attempt to appeal to a very finicky reader group, young boys. Ralik is as rough and tumble as they are, with dirt under his finger nails, a question for every authority figure, and a heart that is just beginning to melt for beautiful women.

Would you like to take a look?

Jenelle I'd love to participate!

Your Books to review + description: King's Warrior

This is a story about a princess: a headstrong, adventurous princess, who is sent on a quest to save her kingdom. But it is also a story about a squire: a boy on the verge of becoming a man, who desperately wishes to prove himself in combat, but instead is given the task of "babysitting" the aforementioned princess on her quest.

It is a story about a man: a man who was once warrior to the king, who has tried to put his past behind him, but when that past finds him and rips away everything he held most dear, he is forced to become, once again, the King's Warrior. But it is also a story about dragons and various other creatures of myth who are outcasts in the land, but who also once made a promise. Will they keep their promise, even if it means protecting the ones who fear them?

It is a story about courage, and learning that courage is so much more than the absence of fear. It is a story about love and friendship and loyalty. It is a story about heroes, who sometimes arise from the most unlikely of places.

It is also a story about a minstrel... but you have to read the whole series to find out more about him...

But most of all, it is an adventure.

King Arpad was determined to free his kingdom from servitude to neighboring Bahadi, and he charged Fastian with the task of obtaining the Light sword that he intended to use to press his claims for freedom.

Fastian and his ward travelled to Bahadi to steal the Light sword, but in the course of carrying out the King’s orders, Meryl’s life was threatened. In a bid to save his ward’s life, Fastian revealed that Meryl was not a servant’s son, and that he was the custodian of an ancient legacy.

Your Books to review + description:Sam's Winnings (Tales of the Ragoon)

A mercantile conglomerate of hermaphrodite aliens (the Ragoon) have invade the solar system and now control the Earth. They are not that evil (although they did eat everyone on Death Row), but they are extremely prejudiced against multi-gender species (we are only semi-sentient)so they require one gender to be the property of the other (guess who? Yep). Ordinary Americans will have to cope. This is a story about some kids who were playing a game of poker. When Sam Wilson wins the girl of his dreams in a poker game, its just a joke. But the Ragoon don't see it that way.
