Jamie Forley the Weakest's selfless final brave act and the ambush set up by the Named Men on the bridge outside the gates of Carleon did it for me. What happened to Forley was heart breaking, the ambush was tense and the ensuring slaughter was a very dramatic fight scene.

Lee (kiwifirst) For me it was when Sult thought he could show Beyez up for a fraud in front of everyone. That scene was brilliantly written, it had everything, clever words, double meanings. It was tense, had humour and a hilarious ending.

A year after reading that scene, and I still can't get the visual out of my head. One of the most hardcore scenes I've ever read.
