Ooh I'll check it out thank you!! X

Michaela I'd suggest, The Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong. The first is called The Summoning.
Also Kelley Armstrong's adult series, Women of the Otherworld is also really great. The first one is called Bitten :).

Gabby Wow! you've read heaps!

Emma McKinnon Firelight by Sophie Jordan is pretty good. And maybe chemical garden trilogy? I like those. And you seem to like a lot of the same books as me :)

message 9: by Lia (new) - rated it 3 stars

Lia i think you will love the big time series it involves a superhero element but it is a very funny read and and on the + side there is a love story in it.

Haha, your lucky, i just started the second semester.

And, well. Judging on the boos that you have read, i suggest:

1) Gray Wolves series, Quinn Loftis*
2) Vampire Kisses, Ellen Schreiber
3) The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, Heather Brewer
4) Born Wicked, Jessica Spotswood
5) Divergent, Veronica Roth*
6) Iron Fey series, Julie Kagawa*

* Haven't read this series yet, but it's high on my to-read list. (highly Recommended By Friends)

Jennie There's a series called the Violet Eden Chapters, not sure if you would have known about it already. It's not about vampires, it's about angels, but it's all that good against bad and power and love story sort of thing like other series you mentioned. I loved the Vampire Academy and I also liked these - I've only read two so far but I'm definitely going to get the next one. Hope that helps :)

Here is the link to the first book: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/86...

Bianca Thanks guys this is brill! :)

Amanda Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout hope you enjoy it :)

Devin I have a little over 500 books read and 95% of them are vampire books so if you want a large list check it out http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...
oh and if anyone can think of anything that they don't see here can you send me a message please? it takes me hours of scouring the internet for offhanded references to smaller known authors or books that I have not heard of, and it is extremely annoying to find the same books in every list over and over and over I want to know why someone can't just make a list that shows only the 1st book in a series+author name and list hundreds not just the 1st 10 that new readers tot he genre would go after like Twilight or Anne Rice those 2 are the most common in lists that I have come across... *sigh* and i'm rambling now so i'm going to shut up now

tiffany house of night series

message 34: by Bee (new) - rated it 5 stars

Bee Try Thirst No. 1 The Last Vampire, Black Dice, and Red Dice (Thirst, #1) by Christopher Pike
The main character is sooo similar to Rose. She is badass.
Although the story is a little to fast pace, and some characters will under developed, for me it was enjoyable.
If you liked Rose you will love Alisa.

The first book takes a little while to get into but each book gets better. Lucky for you all 5 books are out because one of the books has a HUGE cliffhanger and I would have went nuts waiting a whole year to find out what happens. It truly is an amazing series!
