Just saw pics of The actor for Jace...... They chose the wrong actor Jamie looks like nothing thought Jace would look!! They should of chosen Alex pettyfer.
Wonder who will play Raphael in the 2nd movie. Shame he is not in the first.
I am agreeing with you on the Jace character. Not right. Looks too young and a bit girlie. Alex Pettyfer would have been great.
I kind of think Alex Pettyfer would be great as Will Herondale too. Oh well...
But... Jamie is 1 year older than Alex. Not quite right...
Like I said before, I love all of the cast. My only issue is Jamie Bower as Jace...just not how I pictured Jace at all and Kevin Zegers seems a bit old to be playing Alec but I am still excited to see him as Alec. And Magnus is just...perfect.

At first I had my doubts about Jamie as Jace and wanted Alex Pettyfer to play him (that was before I saw that he turned down the role. Now i dislike him) But now I've warmed up to Jamie and love him, he is my perfect Jace.
I really don't think this movie is going to be a hit just because of the choice they made to put Jamie as Jace.
Jamie is perfect ^ i really don't understand the hate towards him, watch his other movies, watch his interviews he will be perfect as Jace.& Yes, my birthdays in August, so midnight premiere here i come! :')
Why does everyone hate Jamie so much? He is an absolutely beautiful man and a fantastic actor and pretty much exactly how Jace is described! There's nothing in the series about Jace have a masculine face, and even then, Alex Pettifyer isn't good enough an actor (in my opinion) to pull it off. Jamie was actually filming Les Mis and pulled out when he was offered the part of Jace because he loves the series so much. Trust me. He's going to be perfect.
I always thought of Benjamin Stone as Jace 
and Alex Pettifyer as Gabriel Lightwood, thats just me
I like the cast they chose for the movie, especially Godfrey Gao as Magnus Bane =D The only thing is that I pictured Jace as Alex Pettyfer instead of Jamie Campbell Bower but by the small snippets from the trailer I think he can pull off this role pretty well.
