Great Middle Grade Reads discussion

There has been a requiest for a special topic area in which discussions/threads can be set up for specific books.
Well, here it is.
If you have a specific book that you would like to put out there for discussion, just set up a thread in this topic area.

Who has read The Last Hunter series by Jeremy Robinson? There are 5 in this series . I absolutely loved them and think these would really interest middle school boys who love nonstop action, fighting, hunting, mythology , fantasy and yes dinosaurs! non stop action with a 14 year old protagonist named Solomon who is totally likable! Read them and let me know what you think. By the way, I seem to be partial to what males usually like- I'm not the romantic chick- lit type of gal so just as a warning to those who aren't into adventure stories!!
