I wish I was on vacation!!!

I've just started The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and so far I'm really enjoying it. I've also got Death from the Skies!: These Are the Ways the World Will End..., which arrived today so looking forward to that one.

I also plan to read Mr. Chartwell, The Secret Crown and possibly The Aspern Papers and The Turn of the Screw over the weekend too.

I wish I was. We will be on vacation in September. We have a week in Seattle planned for my son's wedding.

I am in a lull after the summer session, and I am in the middle of Gone Girl. I finished Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail which was almost like a vacation.

Sam, I really liked The Immortal Life--very riveting.

Gone Girl was one of my favorite books this summer.

I'm halfway through already! It is gripping but now I have to read a few other books for a 24hour toppler I'm doing (sadly couldn't get Immortal Life to fit)
