Don Voorhees Under the speech category, I have noticed that Canadians pronounce all of the vowels in many words, particularly house and about. That quirk can be added to your book with no loss to the original. I also noticed this in a Scottish brogue, with the addition or rolling the Rs.

Louis Hi Mark,

Are you a fan of Stephen King by any chance?

message 6: by Mark

Mark Goodwin Hi Folks ... Glad you could join me. As to the question about my favorite Lovecraft stories ...I must say that his eloquent use of the English language sometimes gets beyond me. My favorites so far are The Hound, Randolph Carter and Reanimator.

Louis Hi Mark, thanks for the add.
I see you're also a fan of Lovecraft? What are your favorite stories?

Cheryl Hi Mark,

Pleasure meeting you. Thanks for the friend request.

Mark Goodwin Hi Paul:

Just saw this note of yours .... 337 or so days later ... duh ...

Anyway, I also read The Secret Sharer by Conrad which I also found interesting.

Paul Spencer I'm impressed with your enjoyment of works by Conrad. I had to read Heart of Darkness in a college class and thought that I would never get through it. After reading your comments, I might give him another try.

Take care friend,
Paul
