Wow…. That first story was a trip. 😳😱 However, this has become very interesting research for my Gothic Fantasy Horror project.

The talking animals that deliver mail in this series will never get old! 😆 They’re so great! One of the best parts in this series.

Another chapter told from my boy, Rueben’s, perspective? HECK YES!!!! This book keeps getting better and better!

Chirping dragons was not what I expected at all in this book! This series keeps getting better and better!

I don’t know whether to trust this Eugene guy or not, but he is a cutie!

Love T. Kingfisher’s writing voice in this one so far. The narrator sounds like she’s exhausted and so done with everything and I can definitely relate to that!

Not quite as funny as the first book, but it’s entertaining nonetheless!

GAAAAHHHHH This is seriously the BEST romance book I’ve ever read!!!!! The writing, the characters, the enemies to lovers vibesss. I am BEAMING!!!!

The Hunting Beast is the most disturbing creature I’ve ever read in a fantasy story. Compared to the Slit Witch, his backstory is the most haunting tale ever told. That imagery is so gruesome, so disgusting.

This book is so disturbing and some parts genuinely make my skin crawl while a sense of dread falls over me…. In other words, I’m enjoying this already, hahaha! Give me the creepiest dark fantasy and I will gobble it up like a hungry hound.

I catch myself going “AAAWWWWW” at this book every time Hart shows his feelings. He’s already shed some tears and my heart has swelled at the descriptions of him displaying emotion. 🥺🥺🥺 He’s so precious AAAAHHH.

Things have been getting so tense!! I wanna keep reading, but I have to go to bed because I have work tomorrow.
