What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Rachael Hanel I think persistence is the key to writing. It took 13 years for my memoir to be published. I had many disappointments along the way, but I knew I had a story to write that had to get out. That kept me motivated to keep working on it. I think it's persistence, and not necessarily talent, that separates published authors from non-published authors. How many would-be authors have given up before publication could happen?
