Rachel Rossano Unfortunately, my plans to release Cecily's Quest by the end of the year were waylaid by the unexpected shift in my life circumstances. However, I can say that I haven't given up on writing the book and hope to finish it, Lord willing, in the next year or so.
Rachel Rossano Yes, my work steers clear of swearing, sexual content, and excessive violence.
Rachel Rossano More novels and short stories are coming, specifically in the Rhynan and Theodoric series.

I am also trying my hand at science fiction, a prequel for the short story Exchange.
Rachel Rossano Hi Ruby! I am writing more. The next novel is in the planning stage and I hope to write two more after that. I am just now finishing up a companion anthology which should be out later this year. I haven't expanded Jacobi's character, but I will definitely consider it now that you have mentioned him. :) He is a fun character.
Rachel Rossano Regarding Honor: A reader finished Duty and messaged me to tell me how much she enjoyed it. Then she said she wanted to read Dentin's story. That was all it took With one suggestion, the idea for Honor had been planted.
Rachel Rossano Give me some time alone, paper and pen (or a computer), and I will have a new idea soon. Everything inspires me, I just struggle to find the time to get the words onto the paper.
Rachel Rossano Write, edit, learn, edit, publish and repeat. Never give up and never stop working toward sharing your work.
Rachel Rossano I get to spend hours in a fantasy world of my creating with characters that I love creating stories and get paid for it.
Rachel Rossano It depends on the kind of writer's block. If I need a break, I take one. If I need inspiration, I go looking in reading books or watching a good movie. If I need to solve a problem, I set aside time, grab a good writing buddy, and brainstorm.
Rachel Rossano Since I don't write historical novels set in our world, but historical novels set in a fictional world, my books tend to slip through the cracks between genres. Although they are technically fantasy, you won't find magic and wizards between the covers. I aim to write novels that feel like historical fiction, not fantasy. All of that said, I am delighted you have found me and would love to hear what you think of my books now that you have found them.
