Amit Chatterjee I was lucky to have learnt a lot from many around and use the same in my practice as a manager. While at that, I also developed a few of my own concepts and constructs that were useful in my work, both as a manager as well as in my larger life as an individual.

I started to write as writing sharpened my mind in application. I was urged by my friends and colleagues to write a book on what I preached and practiced - leadership. I tried but could not. Then one of them asked me to blog instead and that worked. After sometime, I saw the collection had the narrative of what could become a book. Ascent is the result of this little journey - 'A Practising Manager's Growth Mantra.'
