Hi Ms. Nichols. This is sort of a non-writing question, but I thought you should ask. Are you on Bluesky? There's an account on there with your picture and name, but I'm not sure it's you, and thought it would be better to confirm.

Ms. Nichols - where is the novella that I see in the time line in one of your books - it titled "A Twist of Fate" and I read on some obscure website that it was about Dottie Ashbrook, which is where I also found the cover art. But I seem unable to find the novella itself on Kindle to read - is it no longer available?

M.A. Nichols It is a promotional story I wrote for a group giveaway (https://claims.prolificworks.com/gg/b...). If you're not interested in going through the steps to download it for free there, I'm planning on publishing it on Amazon in 2023.

Hi there! By any chance do you have a family tree for all the characters in the Recency Love and Victorian Love series? There are so many of them now that it's hard to keep track of them all lol

M.A. Nichols Lol! I totally understand the confusion. And it's only going to get more so as I start jumping between the Regency and Victorian era and out of any chronological order. I have no planned end for the series, as each time I write a book, I come up with several more ideas for off-shoot stories.

I am working on putting together family trees to go inside the books, but here's an infographic I posted to Instagram that shows the relations between the books:

Hi Ms. Nichols, any plans to write a story for Mary's sister (The Shameless Flirt) or is she destined to stay and marry the jerk for eternity?

M.A. Nichols I get that question a lot, and the answer is a big ol' YES, I will be writing a novel for Lydia! The poor girl had a tragic story in The Shameless Flirt (more tragic than the readers know because there were things going on behind the scenes that are really heartbreaking for her that I couldn't reveal at that time), but I always knew she would be getting her own happily ever after eventually. She chose to give in to her parents' pressure, but Sir Duncan is so much older than him and isn't destined to live for very long after their wedding. At which time, Lydia will find someone who does make her very happy. :)

I plan on writing that book sometime soon, and hopefully, it should come out in 2021.
