Sorry, I just saw this! We are up through book 15 now and they are all on Kindle!
I also have offered loyal readers the chance to preorder ebook versions of the last 8 books (through 23) for $55 if that's something you'd be interested in. It's a savings for my readers AND you get the book sent to you a week before it becomes available in stores!
If you want to do that, you can send money via Paypal to debbie@debbieviguie.com and specify the email address you want the books to be sent to.

I'm sorry that you've been having such discouragement. First, don't worry about the number of people wanting to be writers. The Readers outnumber us! And most writers don't have the ability to stick with it until they succeed. Be one of the ones who does.

Hello!
When it's from Jeremiah's point of view God is spelled G-d because Jewish people leave out the vowels because you're not supposed to write out the name of God completely.

I love books that make me feel something. I want to laugh or cry or sing. I try to put that into my writing, too, because I'm always wanting my readers to have an emotional response to the story and the characters.

Keep writing and grow a thick skin! You have to learn to embrace rejection and see it as just a stepping stone toward your eventual acceptance letter. Also, finish your first novel/short story/etc. and immediately begin writing the second one. Most writers never have their first 2-3 books see the light of day. After the third one you really have gained a lot more skill in fashioning a story.

I'm sorry to hear that. What country are you in? Oftentimes you can order from an Amazon store in a different country. (For example, even though I live in the US I have ordered many thinks from the UK and Canadian versions of Amazon).
Writer's block happens to everyone. The best things I've found for overcoming it are either:
1. Doing something completely different for an hour and then coming back to the story (have a meal, get some exercise, play with a pet, etc.). Then you come back to the story refreshed and in a different frame of my mind. OR
2. Start work on a different story. I'm always writing 3 or 4 books at a time (this is also how I read, by the way). If I'm stuck on one book I switch over for a few hours or even a couple of days then switch back.

The book I actually had the most trouble with was Charmed: Pied Piper. Since I was writing in someone else's universe I had to follow their rules and I wrote myself into a couple of corners and had to figure out how to get out of them while still working within the magic system used by the show. Still it was fun and a great experience.

Book 12 will be released to the public in October. I'm glad you've been enjoying the series!

I had a chance to pitch a fairy tale to a fabulous editor and I thought that The Little Mermaid would be a fun story to rewrite. I originally wanted to set the story in the modern day, but the editor wanted traditional fairy tale settings. To me I thought the coolest thing I could do was flip the story so that the mermaid was already cursed and unaware of it.

My absolute favorite thing about being a writer is when someone tells me that they stayed up late reading because they couldn't put my book down!

After "shelving" the first Psalm 23 book in Goodreads in 2014, I finally got around to reading the first one. Wow! Definitely stayed up late reading.
