Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood

What book out of all the one's that you've written did you have the most trouble with? And how much did you get writers block when trying to come up with what to do next with a charter or even where to go next in the story? And how did you get ride of it?

Debbie Viguié The book I actually had the most trouble with was Charmed: Pied Piper. Since I was writing in someone else's universe I had to follow their rules and I wrote myself into a couple of corners and had to figure out how to get out of them while still working within the magic system used by the show. Still it was fun and a great experience.

Writer's block happens to everyone. The best things I've found for overcoming it are either:
1. Doing something completely different for an hour and then coming back to the story (have a meal, get some exercise, play with a pet, etc.). Then you come back to the story refreshed and in a different frame of my mind. OR
2. Start work on a different story. I'm always writing 3 or 4 books at a time (this is also how I read, by the way). If I'm stuck on one book I switch over for a few hours or even a couple of days then switch back.
