Kate Hawthorne Hello and thank you!!! As of right now the side stories are Cucked: Trophy Doms Social Club 3.5, which was available in an event anthology and is now available exclusively on my website (www.katehawthornebooks.com), Married: A Trophy Doms Social Club Epilogue, which was only available in the RARE Edinburgh Anthology and has not been made available elsewhere (yet). And Hands Off, which is a Trophy Doms NY side story that will be part of the Naughty November anthology coming out next month.

Married will be available as a magnet eventually, so best place to keep an eye out for that is by subscribing to my NL.

Xo, Kate
Kate Hawthorne Hendrix has a book called Necessary Space, it just came out on March 8. No story in the works for Drew. And unfortunately I didn't make note of Rome's decade of fantasies, but that's a great suggestion if I decide to come back to them! Thank you!!
Kate Hawthorne An Illicit Affair was a newsletter short story that was expanded into The Cost of Desire. Worth the Switch is unavailable at the moment, and I have 3 other short stories avaialble on my website katehawthornebooks.com
Kate Hawthorne Why I had such horrible taste in partners for the first half of adulthood, lol.
Kate Hawthorne Hi there! Thanks for your question. Kevin doesn't have a book or a story. Oliver, Nathan, and Yibo have a short story available on my website called, I Want A Husband For Valentine's Day. The Room for Love series follows the Motel Brothers. James is 2nd, Charlie 3rd,Brad, then Andy. Their half brother Beau is featured in a standalone called Unfettered.
Kate Hawthorne Yes! Hi. Chris's book is Love Comes After. It's the third book in the Lonely Hearts series and it is on audio.
Kate Hawthorne Yes! I will be at Romance Rendezvous Book Blast on the 22nd! I'm also attending Writers on the River in Peoria, IL on July 18. Hope to see you there!!
Kate Hawthorne That's. So. Hard.

I would want to go to Sierra Simone land and be any female heroine from any of her books. Now that she's outed that Thornchapel and New Camelot and Markham Hall are all the same universe I think I'd stand a pretty good chance at getting lucky. Aside from her swoony men, she writes amazing women and builds the most lovely magical places.

If not there, definitely Boston in SJ Himes' Beacon Hill Sorcerer books because who doesn't want to have a necromancer and vampire as their friends.
Kate Hawthorne She didn't back up her work. It was gone forever.
Kate Hawthorne Gahhhh. I am rereading the Temptation series with EM and Gray and I just finished the All for the Game series by Nora Sakavic. I'm really looking forward to Stick and Poke, and Scarification from EM Lindsey which are the last books in her Irons and Works series, but I've actually read those two already. I just want to be able to talk to people about them! Haha
Kate Hawthorne I get a lot of inspiration from pictures. Or I will have a very short idea of a story that I think would be fun to tell and I sit down and figure out how to flesh it out and make it exist. The story I am writing currently, which is the fourth Edgewood book is something that came to me in 2018 actually. I was doing a short story for a Valentine's Day group giveaway and I started scribbling away with these two characters and I quickly realized that A, they deserve more than a short story and B, they were definitely not sweet and romantic. So I set them aside and came back to them when I felt I had a better grasp of their story.
Kate Hawthorne I had a handful of extremely supportive friends, some of whom were authors, that's awesome things I had played around with writing and they really pushed me to turn it into a book. So I did and the rest is history :-)

Aside from that though, I have always been writing. I was a really active journaler and when I was in school, I used to write poetry and short stories. I've been writing as long as I can remember but it's not something I ever thought I could do professionally.
Kate Hawthorne I am currently 30,000 words into the fourth book in Edgewood. The third Edgewood book is with my editor and I'm hoping to publish that next month.
Kate Hawthorne Don't quit! I definitely think the most important part of being a new writer is getting your thoughts onto paper. You can always edit when you're done and then pay somebody to edit it for you again. What's important is writing a cohesive story with engaging characters. Find a mentor, make friends who are authors. And most importantly, with whatever you write, make sure you are being true to yourself.
Kate Hawthorne Having so many awesome readers is definitely one of the top things about being a writer. I've met so many amazing people since I started this journey and I have learned so much that I feel really lucky to have the opportunity to tell stories the way that I do. Separate of that, it's awesome to create new worlds in my head and meet all of these characters who live up there and bring them to life, and it's even more exciting when people like my characters and find them relatable.
Kate Hawthorne Generally, I get super frustrated. LOL. I do not write out of order so if I get stuck I will sometimes write anyway, even if I feel like it's terrible. Sometimes I will go back to my early readers and talk through my problems with them and see if I can get a fresh perspective on how to push the story forward.
